  1. i will never understand how people like tokyo blur over new york minute, you can at least tell they tried slightly on new york, tokyo is literally just road with nothing interesting in the background

  2. A few things:
    1. You forgot Wave 3 in the Wave rankings. I'd place it somewhere in the upper half since it does have better quality than Waves 1,2&5, but it's slightly inferior to Waves 4&6.
    2. As much as I love the Wii nitro tracks (Wii Maple Treeway and Wii Rainbow Road are my favorites), its retro selection was ok. As much as I loved seeing GCN DK Mountain, DS Peach Gardens and GCN Waluigi Stadium return, SNES Mario Circuit 3 was the last one anybody wanted to return (well, except for you, I guess). I honestly think that SNES MC3 should've been replaced by any of the SNES tracks that haven't returned yet, like the Vanilla Lakes.
    3. Without the city courses, you wouldn't have your precious SNES MC3 in MK8DX now would you? Though Tokyo Blur is still the worst one (why did you botch it up so bad Nintendo?). All I'm saying, is at least give some love to the city courses would you?

Otherwise, a good ranking, minus the misplaced praise for SNES MC3 and the equally misplaced hate for the city courses.

  4. 36:37 not a track but the winning results in mk super circuit are in 5/4. there's a mario kart fandom article about "Mario Kart Music Not in 4/4 Time" for other irregularities like 3/4 or 6/8, 12/8, and 11/8

  5. Your beef against city courses is huge, I've seen many people that are not invested in the game don't like them mostly because they get confused but that take for many of them is just wrong, putting things like Exitebike Arena or Sunset Wilds way over them is not right

  6. Wish Nintendo would have made it possible to reorganize the cups. Having to play at least one city course in every booster pack cup gets old. I would like to be able to bundle then all into a couple of cups. I don’t hate those courses but it would be nice to either play them all together or just ignore them completely.

  7. DK Summit is just… awkward. It basically railroads you into taking halfpipes. I find them disorienting.

Cheese Land is bloody awful – it swings wildly between dull and cheap. And don't get me started on the second goddamn Chain Chomp. Have a Mushroom, learn to drive on an A4 wide patch, or get your shit wrecked. Nooooo thank you!

Ribbon Road is aggravating for Time Trials, particularly the blue section.

Riverside Park is just… so dull.
