I Quit Scratch Involuntarily

Didn’t expect to wake up and have a decade of my life completely deleted from the face of the technical earth.

  1. Man, when I learned about how frequently you were banned, I assumed you had done several really bad things.
Even though I would replay kit to leader constantly when I was younger, I stopped supporting your games because I thought you had done something wrong.

Even if I never voiced that entirely wrong opinion, I'm really sorry. I was locked out of my 3rd grade school account when I was in 4th grade, and I felt awful that I wouldn't be able to share all of the projects I had worked so hard on but never shared with the public. The pain you must be feeling must be a lot worse, especially because you can't look back at all of your old memories.

Overall, wishing you well, and I hope to see some of your animated content in the future ❤

  3. After seeing only 4 minutes of this video I feel entirely bad for you like kids these days don’t even like furries if their minding their own business or they just see them on their fyp I’m so sorry for what happened to you you’re games were amazing I remember playing over borders and other inspired games I haven’t realized scratch has gone this bad since I only play scratch games a few times. I’m so sorry what happened to you, you deserve better❤ Edit 1:After 8:44 minutes in the video I’m completely disappointed and disgusted in scratch, scratch doesn’t deserve you

  4. That is kind of messed up. I go on scratch every now and then to check out projects and with the new Ai stuff possibly coming out I don't know any more. I was planning on making a full game on scratch (Possibly a remix of another project. The name escapes me but it was one where you played as Ace and it was an adventure type game. Mine was going to be a murder mystery type with no blood, just talking cats) But now I'm not so sure. Thanks for the info about the ai stuff. Hope everything works out in the end.

  5. Honestly why is the moderation on children’s apps and games so bad like Roblox, scratch,YouTube kids, ect all have horrible moderation issues that could be so easily fixed if they just did more-

Honestly tho I’m so sorry mossy 🙁 i do hope you get your account back eventually

  6. Oh mossy…:( That's the problem with popularity on Scratch. It's below zero there. I've somehow managed to dodge around banning, even though i draw blood and stuff a lot. How. How have i gotten away with THAT, while the ST deleted 10 years of work over a freaking furry. One of the only projects i ever got banned was a roleplay application that i didn't credit the art for on accident. The internet is messy. Scratch is one of the WORST MODERATED SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITES in my opinion. I've been comment banned for saying "live stream". I love your games so much. You're so talented, and your art is so good. I can't imagine having my account and all my projects deleted. As i see people with things like Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel content, and i just- I look at the comments on stuff like pridemonth projects and i wonder. I wonder so much what the heck the ST is thinking allowing these comments to exist. Oh god, i'm so sorry. I'll be on Itch. Stay strong, Mossy. Stay strong…

  7. Hey Mossy, I just wanted to say that even though you’re no longer on Scratch, at least a part of the community will follow you on whatever website you go on so that we can see your fabulous work ❤️ I really hope you find yourself a place much better than Scratch and that you keep doing what you love 🙂 Don’t forget, your work is amazing and you’re an amazing person yourself!

  8. I'm so sorry that this happened! You were always someone I had looked up to, I loved playing kit to leader, I'm so sad that I can't do that anymore…. I honestly can't with scratch anymore… I'm, I'm just going to quit. I'm starting to get bored by it and now ST banning you for no reason is insane, that just pushed me off the edge. I hope that you can get your account back, I will never forget what an inspiration you were to me. 💔❤💔❤💔❤

  9. Look I’m so sorry mossy. I was banned on all of my accounts for completely no reason and I really feel you. But the thing that I can’t relate with is having almost 10 years of work deleted. Screw scratch team. They got Elon Musk it and maybe just maybe the scratch team employees will be sensible.

  10. I got banned for mentioning discord but the reason I mentioned it was bc someone who i had blocked from there was trying to get around the block on there
I only said the WORD discord and they muted me
I tried to explain to my followers (there was a lot at the time, even if they werent always active, and i didnt wanna leave them completely out of the loop) in a studio what happened and they banned me for it. I was 16 or 17(?) and they wouldnt talk to me to get unbanned because I was still "a kid"
I was never able to get that account back, so it stays forever closed, the comments on my profile left open. I'm almost 22 now, and honestly I think it was for the best, I just wish I had been allowed to leave on my own terms once I felt I had aged out of the platform. It wasn't deleted, but there it stays, empty and hollow. I miss the friends I made there. But luckily, I was able to retain one friend and that friend has been with me for a long time. We grew up together, basically. Something like 8 yrs. I'm glad that I was able to take them with me when I moved fully to discord.
    It's sad.

  11. A while ago I used to roleplay on scratch (around pandemic, actually). I roleplayed specifically undertale so whenever I killed something I had to say "dust" instead. Eventually I got a 5 day ban until 6/28/2021, but randomly they decided to permanently ban me in the middle of my ban.

I always got confused by this ban because I hadn't done anything, but it seems scratch is doing ridiculous banning to everyone as well. D:

They shouldn't have deleted all your projects though, that was seriously bad, like 9 years of progress deleted because of a single drawing? It's literally an animal! I may have discovered you only around a year ago BUT I still love warrior cats and you inspire me, I'm sad that they banned your account since that was seriously a loss on their part. The IP banning wasn't really needed either since I personally wouldn't have came back after like 4 bans.

  12. I went to play West Woods on Turbowarp and it was all like 'You can't play unshred projects' so I went to the link and it couldn't be reached. So I looked up 'moss-shadow' and saw so many remixes but no credit. So I checked yt and saw this. All I can say is… why would they do this. I am going to make a studio for all the things we love about your projects. I wish St was better at this.

  13. Stupid when I literally get away with the same things. Ban me scratch team, Lionwarriorspets is my username. I draw furries with no clothes but with no genitalia! Edit: HAHA I GOT A WARNING for censoring something blocked by the forum filters and describing it in a funny way?! When I manage to see series name content on the same day?

  14. Scratch Team just seems to hate popular Scratchers. (I have more than 3K followers) I had a chapter of my comic Shards taken down because it said the word “date.” I’ve also been muted a lot for no reason (especially while trying to roleplay)

I agree that the community on Scratch can be great, but the shitty moderation makes the site an absolute trash heap.

  15. Hey, um, I just figured out that you got banned. I really enjoyed your work on Scratch, and I just wanted to make sure you know that everyone on scratch is sad to see you leave, and we wish you luck <3 You are amazing, and Scratch does not deserve you. 17. You may or may not remember me. I used to have my shallow issues with certain things, but lately, I was given more freedom on the internet, and I used that to better understand you. What has taken place now was unjust and should have never happened. It was unjust for you and everything you stood for and worked on for the past nine years. I do not blame you for not wanting to return. You were betrayed, and I would feel the same, in your shoes. Like many others, you were a piece of my childhood. Kit to Leader V4 was one of the first games I played on Scratch, way back in the fourth grade. For reference, this Fall, I will be a High School Senior. Shame on the Scratch Team for what they’ve done. They need to get their fucking priorities straight

  19. Old veteran scratcher here. I made a series called CatGirl without Salad on scratch many many years ago. I left scratch to pursue more art stuff and social media. I came back to scratch 11 years after out of curiosity and say hey Im a voice actor now check out my stuff I voice in. 3 years later i logged in, that check out my stuff got taken down around 6 months ago. I reshared it again and got taken down 3 weeks later.
Scratch team got very soft and sensitive yet allow Hazbin and Helluva stuff around, content clearly not ment for kids.
Im very sorry your beloved project got deleted as a whole. Scratch is def not what it used to be around the early 2010s and late 2000s.
Keep trying, use youtube and social media to your best ability. You got amazing talents!

  20. I literally just came back to Scratch and realized this. What the actual fuck. Your projects inspired me to start on animating, and after a few years off of the site, I was pumped to play Kit to Leader for the nostalgia, but then saw this video link in a studio explaining where you'd gone. Scratch team sucks.
