I just watched a couple episodes of serial experiments lain and this is kind of the entire theme of it. like it's all about the technology thing you said, that we are technology and technology is an extension of us – everything is. also relates to the idea of a god state, that you are infinitely more than the limits you place on yourself. super good series for those who haven't seen it.

  22. If you look at it even closer, we ourselves give the frequencies their effect.
    Let's take light as an example. If you turn on a flashlight in a dark room, you see only the interactions from the light. You can see the light source, this light interacts directly with your retina. And you can see everything that is hit by the light and interacts with it. What you can't see is the light on its way to something. If the room is empty you can make as much light as you can, it remains dark except for the point of the source.
    So what am I describing with this?
    The qualities brightness and colors, you know also from the pure imagination. Brightness and colors are your properties that you can borrow to the light to see its interactions. Light itself is absolutely dark.
