I played Elden Ring's DLC for 3 hours… my thoughts

  1. it's too bad you dont get an option of actually picking from list of low tier weapons that cover all types so you can RP as a certain character. Or a random low tier weapon drop so you can RP as a person teleported to a different world lol. I really want a whip, or those fists and be level 1 and just work my way up.

  2. I read that they recently "listened to the community" on certain changes to the game. Things like the white bandai namco white to black or inventory dot indicators. It's absurd!… The most important thing is to fix the Damn player capacity! For the love of all things Holy, balance the pvp aspect of this game and it will be perfection! You not only have 3vs1 99% percent of the time, but the enemy A.I can also damage you. Fix the teleportation for blue and red phantoms. Once a lures uses taunter they can't turn it off in order to gang up with friends on one player. Why would you remove a feature so crucial, it was in the previous titles. This game won't last long after the DLC Fromsoftware! Oh and cross platform would be nice 👍

  3. so, yeah, your "boss critique" is kinda way off, i understand it from a gaming perspective, but it is explained in the lore, just like encountering a dragon you can encounter a magma wyrm or a tree spirit or whatever, they will be repeated, because they are creatures that reside in the world, would we weird and wrong if they werent there.
just imagine someone tells you "you know, in north carolina there are no trucks" or "in miami there is no police, it doesnt exist"
so yeah, take it with a grain of salt, i get it may be dissapointing to see the same "bosses" but they have to be there.

  4. Did we really need a dlc for this already too long game? For the 80 hours I put into this game I did the exact same thing the entire time: ride the horse, swing the sword, ride the horse, swing the sword, ride the horse, swing the sword….. This was the only Fromsoftware game I did not finish out of sheer exhaustion.

  5. This DLC is going to hit so hard. I’m excited to see them putting out some cool mid range full non consumable options in the game. Though, twinking got some insane upgrades with it lol

  6. New weapons look absolutely broken especially the light great sword. FROMSOFT at it again creating imbalances in PvP. It’ll be like RoB on release all over again. Other than that I’m looking forward to the DLC.
