Darksiders is a banger series. I have platted 1,2 and the Genesis one. 3 i didn't like but you gave me inspiration to go for it.
This vid popped up at the most perfect time! The good old Darksiders games, what a trip. Out of all of them, I never played Genesis. And with that camera angle, I probably would get annoyed really quickly haha.
Really like those transition screens where you answer your own questions, and use the 'dun dun'. And for sure sooooo much better to show a meme of someone destroying a laptop, instead of you breaking a controller🤣
That was quite a rant during Darksiders 3, super cool you left it in. Even with your opinion changing a bit. But totally agree, why they strayed so much from the first two games…we'll never know.

3 got a lot of flak on release because people were understandably looking for an action hack-n-slash like 1 & 2, then 3 comes out and it Souls-like. Once you click with the combat it’s an awesome game.
If i recall 3 was made during the souls boom, everything had to be a souls like, you couldent escape them, and i think genesis was ment to be a holdover for strifes own game. I am pretty sure it said somewhere it was just a side game made by a diffrent company, since it was orignally made by THQ im not sure where its license ended up.
I think they wanted to go with a completely different genre/style of game with each entry as 1 is more of a hack and slash, 2 is more like a western rpg, 3 is like an action rpg a la dark souls and genesis is a top down action game

Never been a darksiders fan, i never liked them but getting the platinum on them is certainly something new on here, never seen anyone else do it so at least you aren't just going for platinum trophies everyone does.

Yep, the third game is… something else, indeed. I was so upset about what they did to her horse! I have all the extra trophies for it, despite the constant gaming crashes. The first game is still my favorite, and I wanna go back to it on PS3. The second was annoying, and didn't play Genesis. More Hack N' Slash games, please!
And yeah, I'm still waiting for a proper Strife's game like the others, and one with all of them.

Congrats on the plats! I've been tempted to give Darksiders II a go as I've never played any of the games in the series before so it was kind of cool to see this come out 😄. Quick question though – how come you've moved to doing multiple plats in one video instead of having 4 more in depth videos of each game uploaded close to each other
I just couldn’t get into the 3rd one at all. 2 was brilliant though . I put 125 hours into 2 and only 6 on the third game
