  1. You are looking really well, Tony! I wish I could come and help you at your plot but I live in Oxfordshire so it wouldn’t really work. Please do a video of your open day though, that would be very cool! 😊

  4. Hi Tony. Glad to see you on here. You do look a lot better. Sorry to hear you’ve had to go back to hospital so many times, I hope it settles down soon and you can get back to your allotment. I’m down on the south coast, sorry I can’t help you with the digging. Wishing you a speedy recovery mate.

  5. Wish I could help you but I’m at the other end of the country, I’m sure you’ll get lots of volunteers though. It must be very frustrating to have had those set backs but you will get there eventually, wishing you all the best 💐

  9. Don’t know what part of the uk your in, I’m down south. That’s a great plan.
The green tomatoes, you can still eat those. You can boil them and make a beautiful tomato sauce or pesto. You could stuff them if they’re big enough and bake them?! I add mine to curries. I’ve recently pickled some with some jalepinos and I love them.
    Wow beautiful looking chilli’s.

You could print a sign up sheet and post it to your allotment, so people could call or email you from the allotment (because you know gardeners love all gardening). I’m sure you’ll get help with it all. Then meet up when two or three of you are available and let people know what you need help picking. You could also swap recipes or crop as a thank you.

Hope you heal soon, it’s a process.

  12. Tony, I passed my driving test a couple of weeks ago (at the age of 40+). If you're having an open day, I'd love to come down from Glasgow. This would be my first big driving trip and it would give me the opportunity to thank you for all the advice you have given me over the last two years since I got my allotment. Keep strong, Pal.

  13. Glad to see you. It is a slow steady road to recovery as it was a major operation. I would recommend you get some arnica which is a homeopathic remedy which may help your pain. If I was closer to you I would have come to help as I love weeding. Hopefully 🤞🏾 you will have viewers close to you

  14. Tony, it's wonderful to see you looking so much better. I'm so pleased you are gradually improving. It will be a long journey but as your strength returns it will make such a difference. Keep smiling Tony. I wish I lived closer, I'd be there in a heartbeat as I'm sure many will. So, some coffee on its way 😊. Take care, Paul

  18. I'd be up for that Tony, just a tad far away from you, down here in West Sussex!
Just take a day at a time, like you say you are having more good days than bad ones now, I'm sure they'll keep heading that way to. You'll be back up the allotment before you know it!

  20. Happy Friday, Tony! ❤ Glad to see you’re moving around, but holy cow you’re looking slim, Sir!!! I understand why, of course. 😂 I admire your drive to go out and about, but puh-lease don’t push yourself. 😅 Glad its more positives in your ups and downs. ❤ Gosh, if I were local, I’d TOTALLY COME HELP OUT! But I’m here in the States. Hopefully you found some volunteers. Take care, and hope to see you again soon. ❤
