Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
Did they have to do the claw machine dirty like that? π’
The whole movie is just some cheesy, nigh on propaganda, action flick. Which also happens to double as a navy add, but that's the way i like it! Seeing the mighty mo roll again will always be worth it.
White Matthew Davis Frank Jackson Jason
The old WW2 Ships are proper American heavy power, But I love this scene.
Yall better get your nonsense together if you think they blew money before back than dont think they won't waste another ship bro lmao
My favorite scene!π’
I was a fireman/waterman on a high-pressure steam ship. lighting off It was always interesting.

So what you sterring on me –ok sir Β΄I m your spooter–( YOU WILL CATCH IT )–otherwise –you wrong–tue rollf
I worked on a merchant marine steamer for 10 years and it took us a couple weeks of assembly before we even lit off a boiler. I absolutely believe that the engines would run very well and everything but even in an ocean setting you're going to have to make soft water for the feed water and bring the boilers up to temp is going to take a few hours at least. You don't want to heat them too quick because you risk blowing gen tubes, water walls and screen tubes. If you melt out your superheater tubes you're really screwed because most auxiliary equipment is ran off dry steam, namely the turbines for the generators. I get it's a movie but getting an old steamer ready to go isn't a matter of lighting off a boiler, you really gotta get the BTU's cranking, especially for that kind of demand.
Prime Tim Riggins.
This is why we need to go back to this technology
We need more battleships!
Love the Battleships but there day is long gone.
The sound of that engine starting is legendary
0:11 needlessly damaging things, must be a truckie in the FD lol
I remember this movie I loved it so much!!!! β€β€ππ
Fun fact: all the old people are real veterans who served on the USS Missouri.
It was a bit of a daft movie, well worth watching though if you don't take it too serious, and the battle scenes will have you on the edge of your seat. Oh, and one of Australia's best exports rocking the sound track, can't go past that.
One of my favorite military action movie
β€
can we just acknowledge the fact that almost all of the actors even if playing higher rank then some of the Veterans in these scenes always referred to them with Sir no matter the rank. That is awesome.
This was the only reason this movie was made.
Wait, USS Missouri who's video about the fire control team of the 16" gun was recorded bracing for a possible missile hit?

And they call this a bad movie?!
this is the best battle ship montage i think ill ever see, the movie was so weired but was a good movie imo
I thought the most "Pro-Navy" film sequence I had ever seen was the "Splash the Zeroes" scene in THE FINAL COUNTDOWN … until this … Outstanding !
