So Seth, which card from Foundations are you most excited to make a deck around and why is it Thousand-Year Storm?
could've countered the bloodletter to get another turn 🙁
@29:22 I think the play here was to let the Archfiend swing, then on your turn cast Into the Floodmaw on an Archfiend, copy it with the now 3 power Kitsa, then Floodmaw the other archfiend. This would have slowed the opponent down two turns instead of one.
Impact Tremors is also in standard I think so may alt win con?
I’m not normally the type to do this but you could’ve looted again at 34:00
Seth! The voldarens are vampires from innistrad. This merfolk is a voldalian 🙂
In match three versus enchantments, would it not be better to sac the Researchers with Hexcatcher's ability in response to the Ossification/Sheltered by Ghosts? It doesn't counter the spell, but it puts the merfolk in the graveyard for potential recursion with Cauldron.
Why are we going infinite on our own turn?! Do it on their end step. Maybe they don't know it. Maybe they don't board wipe because they don't realize they're dead. This will never stop confusing me
More so than kitsa i really wonder about azure beastbinder. It's such a powerful control effect, especially into stuff with death effects, but i never see it.
Okay.
Video #1 of asking Seth to brew Kaito Tribal .
We post until he makes it happen.
How often when you play best of one do you end up against someone playing a 200+card deck that somehow magically (no pun intended) actually works? Every time I make a deck over 70 cards it never functions correctly, mull to 3 before getting a land (30+ in the deck) draw only 5+ cost cards when I only have 3 mana etc.
foundations added brineborn cutthroat, might be good for this deck with possible +1/+1 and being a merfolk
Is this bait? The combo is clearly a fluke. Something is fishy, you might need to scale it back a bit.
Oh no, this insane deck again? my gosh! Version 10.2 for sure.
You don't need to put a counter on Marvin with Agatha's Soul Cauldron if you have another creature out with a counter on it. That creature gets all the abilities of the creatures under the cauldron, then Marvin gets them via his own ability.
ronafish 😂
I'm curious if wizards will ever make a full 100% reprint set legal for standard I'm talking about cards the all desperately need to be reprinted play stuff from from well before scars of phorexia and Meriden no weird gimmicks just 100% reprints
Somehow the volume on my phone got turned all the way up, so I just went to lay down after getting off work, clicked this video, and got jump-scared so hard by Seth’s voice that I dropped my phone on my face and smacked a tooth. Oww.
Nice thumbnail and awesome video!
Infinite merfolk is evil. But making people pay the one WITH said merfolks is beyond evil😂
I feel like AtO has been primarily combos for a long time. I miss the days of grindy value engines like Panharmonicon or Seance. Can we see more of that style sometimes mixed in?
At 24:50 U had inifitebon board if U couldroned Rona, then untap the couldronto give the fish a counter and then U could do the loop
Why does he only make merfolk on his own turn? EDIT: he's doing it on opponent's turn, forget it.
