супер!
U R amazing man 🤩
I have no idea what an ESP32 is or what it does but this video was interesting none the less
man this is fantastic, i loved your content, i simply subscribed right way.
Can it run old 8/16 bit games? I really dont understand about this ;-;
My idea is get some little screen and a battery and make a portable myself, like, I can just install some pirate emulator on my psp, but that way is waaay more cooler hahahaha
Delightful design.
And memories of my old 800×600 Samsung CRT monitor + SiS6326 + Celeron 333MHz + NFS3.
This is so impressive im afraid to say anything past being humbled.
legit h4x
Great work man
awesome project! there will be lots of uses!
Will it run Crysis?
I absolutely love your monitor setup, but I'm at a complete loss as to what kind of monitor the one beneath your main on is, the slanted one just in front of the keyboard.
Has anybody got an idea what model of screen that is?
Why were you looking at a mans bum on your monitor ( 1.33 )?
That`s weird.
meanwhile i'm trying to figure out what exactly you're trying to do
like what is this board meant for? What does it connect to?
I know it might seem like i'm just being rude but these are genuine questions, this video showed up in my feed without any context
Is there more before and after footage?
Can you play some gifs into it
whats the use for this? especially in 2023?
hacker mode!! nice content, I really liked it, i ended up subscribing
That is extremely impressive, doesn't seem like it'd be too hard to use one of these modules as the video solution to any number of DIY retro computers. VGA timing issues can cause some REALLY odd bugs. I remember having an old CAD/business graphics card which would do utterly bizarre things if the power in the house flickered at all, narrowed it down to Hsync going haywire when this happened. needed to restart to fix it.
you nmeed to put this into a hud so you can over glass so you can see a floating video (over glass means there is a glass over the screen so you have a floating hud over the screen .
I hope to use something like this one day. Working on an emulator that I'd like to run on bare metal, and having stable 60hz refresh rates is important.
someday we might be use vga that more than nvidia
Incrível :O
Too bad that Mini-VGA connectors were/are proprietary ones. You could've used one of those to have more clearance. But awesome work anyway! 🙂
"hackermode: NUDELHOLZ!"
don't let you fool by the mode name it's more like 40fps.
I hope you will make more videos like this. What about animating it? I guess that's just too much for an ESP32.
that goblin level of laughter as hes milling off a chunk of the board. <3
Up next: 1080p on a toaster
You need to make an in depth video series of how vga card works. Awesome vid❤. I wanna learn more. From coding bg I could understand some but not entirely😢
Chinese companies:
Write that down, write that down!
that Evil Mastermind Laugh® 😅
Love your project.
Hey I'm a video editor, are you interested in hiring someone for you channel?
Next up we run Doom and Crysis! lol, this is awesome stuff!
Sub+1 … it was the evil laugh when using router to cut pcb 🤣
No electronics project is complete without an evil cartoon villain laugh.
in 2023 u can make in home grapic card from early 90s ^^

the A letter is susi guess
I wish I could make stuff like this, but I only used my soldering iron once and it went black because I didn't tin it correctly LOL
1st time watching and it's mindblowing what you have done, and wanted to ask if by any chance did you try to run doom on it?
I don't Quite Understand the Significance of all this (Making VGA with this ESP32), but I enjoyed watching the process though. Really Neat!
I'm curious about what use cases people might come up with.
If it has LCD outputs, maybe you should have gone with LVDS / DVI / HDMI instead?
Can your FPGA solutions replace monitors by creating VGA-over-Network? Basically connect to old hardware your FPGA card instead of monitor and connect to FPGA by IP?
…and Thank You for HIDING these tests! lol 🙂
This is incredibly impressive. The ESP32 is so weak yet very strong by retro computer standards. This is a very exciting project! 🙂
