I Love This RTS! – New Space Based RTS With Huge Battles “Annihilate The Spance” Episode 1



Hello There!

Today we are starting a new series on a very interesting RTS/Auto Battler that came out a few days ago. In this game you can control one of 3 factions in story missions or skirmishes as you forge giant foundries of war and fight with countless ships in the Spance.

RTS base builder with constant production and minimal micromanagement. Direct fleets of autonomous ships in huge battles. Features a singleplayer story campaign with 3 distinct playable factions and many subfactions, and full level editor. Test your abilities in the shifting tides of the Spance.

Series Info

1.I have already recorded all of the games current story content in EA and will release it bi daily on this channel (14 story focused videos I might do some one off skirmishes as well if I have time)

2.Please note this game is heavily in development so I things might be a different from my version and the current EA version available on steam (for instance when I started recording there where 13 missions now the 2nd campaign is finished)

3. The highest difficulty Mode Trauma is not finished for all missions I have used this mode on 6/7 story missions in the first campaign and 12/15 in the 2nd campaign so mission difficulty will vary quite a bit.

4. I was given a key by the developers after I reached out to them to record content on this Indi gem after I played far too much of the demo 🙂

  1. So got to say loved this game the moment I tried it thanks to the devs allowing me to record this content a week before release! 🙂

  2. This reminds me a little of Sword of the Stars, Haegemony and Homeworld. Which both makes me realise how old I am and gives me hope that it's worth playing.

Having played the demo, I'm really glad the Refinery was added as a separate structure, the whole setup before of 'have medium yards make mining ships' was weird, since it meant making medium yards had zero opportunity cost. Once the fields ran low (or you had enough miners going) you'd just flip them over to combat production.

  4. There does appear to be a pause button. Some hard missions might be slightly less hard if time stands still on the iron hill, while the guy in charge figures out what and where to build. Just a general observation, mind you. I have not tried the game yet but it does look pretty cool.
