  1. My mom had Amazon deliver a package (paid by the school) and they kept trying to drop it off after 6:30pm. Nobody's there.

    Other than that, people keep screwing up packages to the house and send it to one of two other houses because they are the same unit number but have different building numbers.

  3. Tip of advice for all my people who live in apartment complex or houses

    Most mail delivery by all mail carriers follow the USPS by having their mail processed by location first: Urban & Rural

    Urban are done first due to most government building needing their mail to function.

    So to everyone that lives more in suburban areas are classified as rural and will get mail later in the day.

    Best option for anyone that has this issues like this

    1) check the address and see if it accurate

    2) for hand written stuff, PLEASE WRITE CLEARLY. If you're hand writing looking like ancient runic language it will make it harder for them to deliver it and their team to help figure out what you wrote forever to do so

    That just make the drop off location your local carrier store location. Save the headache of trying to figure out where the fuck it at

  4. For me. The thing I hated at the apartment I used to stay at is how they didn't want to fix shit.

    Like when I lived there it was for like 16 years. My door to my room broke in like 2012. My mom has gone up to them, asking them to fix my door, I've gone up to them asking them to fix my door. The first time they told my mom she would have to pay for the door and they will install it. In 2015 they did send someone to check on the door, best thing they did was put duct tape on it (no it didn't fix my issue) because it got to the point where it broke where I couldn't really close my door using the door handle, I had to remove the handles to put my finger through the hole to push the part that allows my door to close and stay close. Then in 2018 they came again and went "okay we will order a new door and installed it" I waited a week to a month and knew they either somehow forgot or never really order a new door in.

    Another thing that they flat out refuse to fix, was the laundry room within thst apartment. There's only 2 washers and 2 dryers. Instead of fixing it they just ignore it meaning I had either check other apartment buildings to see if it was available or go across the street to get my clothes wash.

  6. So I may be putting myself out here but I'm actually a mail carrier and I can only talk from personal experience;
    First off, a lot of these carriers are going to be "new blood" and new bloods really don't care… and when I say they don't care I mean they are not worried about you, your mail, your packages or any repercussions therein. Now some people like myself will try to make sure to deliver things properly and on time as best as possible. However, we do get sick and or have days off/ holidays/ vacation time and when that happens chances are they will either have somebody who is unfamiliar with our route deliver it or they will split it up amongst other carriers to deliver it, which runs the risk of people who once again don't know what our route consist of and end up delivering things wrong/any kind of way. Then you also have the Amazon driver situations. A lot of these Amazon drivers are people who figure all I got to do is scan a package, drop it and keep going but without a union (as I'm sure you recall) it's not exactly like they have any protection to encourage them to do better. Now when it comes to apartment complexes almost every one of them have their own way of doing things and will change up whenever & why ever they want, so that complicates things there. I'm not really trying to make excuses, I'm just breaking down the logistics of it… Tltr: Lots of different reasons for messed up delivery but mostly because of wrong people being in the wrong positions.

  7. I feel this so freaking hard. The amount of times the mail system has given me wrong mail that's supposed to go to another apartment is abysmal. I even got mail for someone that's 15 minutes away from me.

  8. I feel where he coming from. When I first moved into my apartment, packages you order SOMETIMES will be delivered to the leasing office. Problem is, if it DOES, the people ACTUALLY "WORKING" at the office will JUST "TAKE IT", "PUT IT AWAY SOMEWHERE", and you'll be sitting for DAYS wondering "WHERE MY SHIT AT!?" Only to go to the Leasing Office and find out THEY BEEN HAD IT THERE THE WHOLE TIME AND DIDN'T EVEN SEND A NOTICE OR NOTHING!!! THAT SHIT BE IRRITATING!!!😑
