Now THIS is a mod Iβve been waiting for! In this video, we check out the brand new mod 27BC The Dawn of the Empire for Total War Rome 2, a mod that completely changes the time period, and takes us all the forward to 27BC and the late reign of Emperor Caesar Augustus. In 27BC the Roman Empire is in full control of Europe and the Mediterranean. If not in direct control, a few subjugated states remain under the Roman yoke. Just a few barbarian tribes continue independent of the Romans, but the worst of them all are naturally located in Britannia, the island untouched by Roman sandals. Not for long.
But problems brew elsewhere too. In Anatolia, Palestine and Syria, war threatens to engulf the eastern part of the Empire. And with the new Ryse Son of Rome mods too, which adds new unit models that mimick the ones in Ryse, weβre set to have ourselves a proper mini-overhaul!
Let me know what you think of these mods and these narrative campaigns, and please make sure to leave a like and subscribe to the channel. Thank you so much for watching, and Iβll see you next time π

If there is no numbered legion submod for this, iβm gonna skip.
Using the Ryse: Sons of Rome submod for this era makes no sense cause there is no way 100% of the legionnaire were equipped with lorica segmentata.
NGL Roman Legionaries with full Lorica segmentata holding position as pikeman was cursed af xD
How u doing Andy?
Imagine a series where you simulate a campaign map in imperator rome and you play the battles in rome total war 2. It should be mostly narrative driven because it wouldnt work gameplay wise but still I'd give it some thought
These dark red high contrast UI makes my eyes bleed man
Don't quit doing the Lord's work in Japan :p (jk, jk)
Maybe you can consider doing a follow-up on one of your campaign videos, as your narration style is awesome, my friend!
(For future reference: "arcabuzeiros"/"mosqueteiros")
Fun video and campaign idea! I might give it a try after I finish up one of my current campaigns (Armenia and Pontus).
4:51 One small correction. This invasion would have been the third time Roman armies landed on British shores. Julius Caesar invaded in 55 and 54 BC to stop British tribes from supporting the Gauls in their efforts to resist his conquest of Gaul.
I invaded Britain with spartan and made them my client state
4:50 Caesar "shame, shame on the house of Take"
Hi Andy, is this mod DEI compatible?
Man, I read "Bretonnia" the first time and I thought "wow, Andy's playing Warhammer now?".
As a wise man once said, "You can bring civilization to Britain, but you can never bring Britain to civilization".
Dude, consider kindly sharing the configuration you're using on Reshade to have that specifc look on the campaign map? Dude, consider kindly sharing the configuration you're using on Reshade to have that specifc look on the campaign map? Around 3:00-ish. Looks absolutely amazing – mine is similar but I feel the color saturation is a bit too much, although it looks too bright, washed-out if I lower it.
Invasio Barbarorum Mod pn Rome1 is the best replace !
if i could play in DEI i might try it
I'd love to see you continue this campaign Andy, the way you shape the story around war declarations and peace deals is really cool
Hey Andy, great video! πAny chance you can share the modlist you used for this one? Thanks!
I LOOOOVE this ROME II Content!!!π
That pike phallanx is funny
I thought it was called the province of Judea
