I Have Mead | God of War Ragnarok | Pt.1

If this game doesn’t show you just how far we’ve come in gaming I don’t know what would! After recently playing the OG collection – my heart is about as full as it possibly can be and we’re only one hour in… Not only is every hand placement, eye movement, camera angel perfect, but the overall game feels like a movie. On to the meat and po-tay-toes – Atreus is certainly showing aspects of his mother and I think Kratos is having a really hard time being open to his sons suggestions. It’s really important to remember Atreus knows only a fraction of what Kratos has been through and we know his past greatly impacts his behavior now. So I am hoping to see major growth from Kratos and the journals already depicts that. Finally, did anyone else have their heart break when Atreus said “Stop thinking like a father for a moment and start thinking like a General” Ahhh well that’s it for now – I hope y’all enjoy this emotional playthrough as it is one of my favorite game series!

  1. Maybe you've figured this out by now, but there are accessibility options that make it so you don't have to quick press buttons- you just hold the button. You should try that out and save your thumbs.

  2. You mentioned you love the voice actor for Thor… if you’ve ever watched sons of Anarchy, the guy who played Opie (Ryan Hurst) is who that is. Was also in remember the titans and more recently in the walking dead.

  4. That axe handle you have, “The Furious Maul”, honestly never use any other handle and just keep upgrading it when you can. Also try to get the full Vidar set of armor and use that as much as possible. You’ll tear through enemies!

  5. I’ve looked this up. In the original three games, Kratos is around 8ft tall, while in the Norse games, he’s under 7ft. Not sure if there’s a lore-based explanation for this.

  6. Not that it's relevant to the game, but you're absolutely gorgeous.

Now, looking back at the games you've played, I think I've found a channel that suits me perfectly.

I am looking forward to you experiencing my GOTY, and I'm subbing to be along for the ride.

I can already tell that you're going to love this game.

  7. In the comics Kratos meets Faye when traveling. She pulls him through a portal of some kind with Faye and Hati and so Kratos fights Faye. They stop when Kratos realizes she isn't trying to hurt him and the rest is history
