  2. Thing is, this is actually one instance where Mabel was kinda in the right… there are and will be situations of Mabel being "selfish", but of all of them, this is where she has no blame and Dipper kinda was the jerk

  3. Hey Mosco, I don't know if you're taking any requests but I was wondering if you were, if you could react to dead end paranormal park on Netflix? Without any spoilers, it has some really good queer representation in it as well 🙂

  4. Unpopular opinion – I'm also not really a fan of Mable. She is a good catalyst for Dipper, but I feel like she didn't add a lot to the show. She does ground Dipper as a child – he takes himself too seriously, and Mable helps to ground him. Plus, when Mable and her vampire boyfriend defeated TimeBaby's time-tantrum was a really awesome. Plus MableLand; that was really good.

  5. I get why people hate Mabel, but I still hate when people call Mabel selfish for wanting Waddles back this ep. Sure, in other eps you can maybe call her that (i don't like just calling her or Dipper or any character in this show selfish cus to me that undermines a lot of their personalities and what THEY hold as their priorities that can be seen from their actions), but Dipper got Waddles TAKEN away from her this ep, definitely not that same as if Mabel didn't get Waddles and want to go back over and over to get Waddles and mess up Dipper's "chance" with Wendy… What Dipper did this ep was simply wrong imo, and he fixed it at the end.
In ep4 when Dipper helped Mabel break up with Gideon, he didn't believe that Gideon had any real power, so no Dipper didn't knowingly stuck his neck out for Mabel. At the end of that ep Mabel had to learn to stick her foot down and tell Gideon herself, too.
Dipper and Mabel are 12 turning 13, like even younger than Luz😭. Imo the show shows them perfectly as kids with their own wants and priorities, with them never being selfish just for the sake of being selfish yk. As someone who's more like Dipper, I wish I was a little bit more like Mabel when i was younger. Be a kid when you can.

  6. In 1992, there was a sci-fi action movie released here in the U.S. c.alled "Universal Soldier." The main villain was play be an actor named Dolph Lundgren. The look of the time police are partially based on the movie, with their names being a reference to him.

  7. Mabel does get her way a lot but this episode I feel like it's better she got her way. 1. Love Waddles. 2. Dipper and Wendy is just really unrealistic since Dipper is 12 & Wendy is 15 and Dipper is very clearly younger so if they went out it would just be kinda weird

  8. Glad I'm not the only one with that thought about Mabel. Everyone pretending Dipper is trying to manipulate Windy into liking him are completely disconnected and bias do to their own personal beliefs about the age differences. He just wanted a win, trying not to hit her in the face with a ball and have a good time with her isn't manipulation. I have a feeling if you are anything like me you'll never really like Mabel. There is no real character development for her; the same problems she faces now will be the same problems she faces in the end. It's not noble to sacrifice yourself for someone like that, doesn't matter if there is blood relation or not.

  9. I dunno. Personally, if Mabel still felt that broken after a month, then it must have really meant something to her. I don't think it's deliberately manipulative on her part. Dipper knows this, and he could have still chosen to leave things the way he wanted. In the end, he cares for Mabel more than he wants Wendy's attention.

  10. I'm actually glad Dipper didn't got his way this episode because he was being a bit of a lil creeper. Just imagine this scenario without the fantasy of time travel in the way "i gotta manipulate the situation so this girl doens't go out with a guy i know she would want to go out with, but instead goes out with me" and also yeah, it's just a pig, but you could also see it this way, an animal is gonna get mistreated, possibly for life, just so Dipper can hang out with someone he doesn't even have a realistic chance of dating, for a day. The trend of Mabel getting her way over Dipper's is there for sure, but atleast in this case Mabel's way was 100% the right one in my opinion

  11. You're upset with Mable undoing time travel in order to keep the pet she earned, but not with Dipper for using time travel to manipulate a girl into not dating someone else in order to try to make her date him?

  12. Tbh, Dipper was wrong in this episode. Everything already went against him and even if Mabel sacrificed Waddles to help Dipper make it so Wendy's eye wasn't hit by that ball, nothing would still probably come of it in the end. Plus, I don't think Dipper sacrifices himself for Mabel as often as it may seem
