Elden Ring is an action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game was made in collaboration with fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, who provided material for the game’s setting. The game is presented through a third-person perspective, and the player may freely roam in its interactive free-form exploration open world. Gameplay elements include fights, looting, horseback riding, interacting with non-player characters, and maintaining the character’s status through leveling up, enhancing equipment and weapons, and learning spells.

LOVE the game. I farmed herbs for 8hrs and died to those damn imps, ghouls wuteva so gave up game for few weeks.

downloaded this off of steam and just started…works fine so far so no complaints here
If you still have issue with the framedrop just do a quick hop into Bloodborne and you'll feel at least a little grateful with the framedrop in Elden Ring.
Only casuals complains about this game since they all suck they play only easy mode
me a fromesoft vet I can't wait till my copy come at the end of the week. normal people jumping on the elden ring bandwagon and realising its not a skyrim or witcher 3 and getting destroyed shows how dumb down game have become especially in the AAA department. Never stop From software weed out the weakness.
I’ve had this argument with my girlfriend about this before. You know these types of games are not for you but you buy them and then get butt hurt when it’s too hard and say it sucks. Don’t buy games you don’t have any business playing especially if you are talking smack on a game just because you suck at it.
This is why kids need a medium buffer between controller and steam reviews..
As being beaten at a game, doesn't make it bad..

Impressive how much dicksucking a game can get just because of pretentius hardcore players, want to fight actual hard monsters? Go play monster hunter where theres no 33 second rol iframes and actual skill is involved.
Great single player. Co-op is trash.

I think the negative reviews are mostly from people who are not used to the dark souls franchise, and only came to this game because of the hypetrain of the awesome trailers, George R. R. Martin, plus the recent increase of gamers due to the pandemic, who are new to gaming themselves.
When casual players play a hardcore game just cuz it's trending:
I never liked Souls games so I knew I'd never get into this game. As a 911 dispatcher, I get enough stress and frustration during my 12 hour shift. When I game I need down time, not more stress and frustration lol. With that said, for people that like these Souls games it looks pretty good.

I dont know, i loved DS 1 and 2, 3 was ok but this is trash. I usually do like sandbox games but this is too much… riding around for an hour just to cross a road and end up in an area 30 levels above you to get one shot… walk into a high level cave and cant even get out without reseing 3 hours of gameplay that isnt hard thats just retarded

I hate the game. Difficulty level is one thing but the crazy complicated interface is worse and the complete lack of compelling story is another. Add to that a very depressing scenery and the one million useless messages everywhere. I try to like it but give up after an hour and go back to Netflix.
