I was invited by Ubisoft to preview 3x versions of the same gameplay mission in Assassin’s Creed Shadows and briefly chat with the developers to learn more about the new upcoming AC game in Los Angeles just before Ubisoft Forward.
In this video I share some of my thoughts, impressions and opinions of the game which is largely positive; hopefully this breakdown gives you more of an idea on what you think of it and whether it’s worth the purchase!

I can't bloody wait for this game! I'm gonna probably main Naoe, as I'm a huge OG AC fanboy, but I'll definitely try out Yasuke in some of the more combat-heavy moments/missions.
Also, I just can't wait to explore the map and see what kind of secrets/easter eggs there are for us to find. Did they let you explore any on your own when you played their early version of the game? Probably not, but just curious lol. You said the history virtual tour mechanic is coming back in this game, correct? It's gonna be so cool.
Yasuke should definitely get an assassin inspired armor
@AndyReloads Do you think we will be getting dense cities with more verticality, favoring parkour? If yes, do you reckon that Kyoto will be the only city built around the idea for parkour or will we be exploring other big cities? I do love Ac Odyssey( same studio that is making Shadows), but Athens was a total bummer when it comes to parkour. I loved what Ubisoft did with Baghdad and that is exactly the type of city i would love to see in AC Shadows- intricate, dense and big.
I can see them pulling from ghost with the adrenaline bar and “posture” system as well as the attack/ unblock able indicators

shes not a ninja shes a kunoichi ! unless its a dude an i wouldn't put it passed ubisoft these days to pull something like that
4:20 good ill play Naoe most of the time and that’s no racism or hate to Yasuke I’ll probably play as him a few times just to mess around in the game or cheese puzzles as I’ve heard he can do that with some of them but if I had to put it in a pie chart I’d say Yasuke takes up like a 1/8 of the pie where as Naoe takes up 7/8 of the pie as I’ll use her for adventuring, messing around and the main story where as I’ll only use Yasuke to mess around and cheese puzzles, or I’ll just play most of the game as Naoe then in new game plus I’ll play it as Yasuke so I can see the story from both perspectives which is why I think the duel protagonist being two different people would be great see two different stories
one of the most racist games ever made.
I’ve seen the out fit in the thumbnail before I just can’t remember who wore it it was either Nagato (naoes father ) or Hattori Hanzo, or possibly and less likely so idk why I’m even saying it as he had more basic design for his outfit but the other person it could be is Kotetsu (the founder and at the time the game takes place mentor of the Japanese brother hood)
15:59 they are also adding two more locations in their dlc which I could see Tokyo and mt Fuji being added or possibly the Ainu tribes in Hokkaido as at this time people did make contact with them

Really looking forward to AC Shadows 😍. It’s the first game in a long time to show true stealth mode, which is the reason why I feel in love with this franchise in the first place. 🙌🏻🥷🏻
