First time watching your videos and I have to say, you made me cry, you’ve captured the feeling of being at Disneyland so perfectly that I cried so hard while watching this from Colorado. I grew up in CA and my family bought season passes for us. Disneyland was an escape for me during a very rough time in my life and I consider it my home as well. There’s nothing like that feeling of magic and adventure and I wish so much that I will be able go back someday, but in the meantime, thank you for bringing that feeling and that magic back to me 🥹
I’ve taken the Walk in Walt’s Footsteps tour many times. It had been years between trips and I was surprised they allowed Apartment access when we took it in 2018. Staying away from spoilers made that a huge surprise. But that tour was three hours and included lunch, and now it’s 90 minutes. What can ya do…
Dude the minute you said you were going into Walt's apartment I started to ugly cry and I didn't stop through your whole video. of course I wish it was less expensive but I don't think I care how much it costs to go in his apartment. thank you for the hot tips! 👍🏻✌🏻
I remember one year my mom & i were standing in front of Walt statue while watching the fireworks, my mom just happen to be looking at Walt & seeing the fireworks going off behind him brought tears to her eyes, that shows how much happiness Walt brought to many people. Thanks for sharing this video!
Hi, great video…My friend & I both have magic keys…he is wheelchair bound & cannot walk…is there a special elevator to get him inside the apartment, he is very hardcore Disney & I think that would be a great Xmas gift for him this year….is it wheelchair ♿️ assisted? Again, great video…new subscriber here👍
I took the tour it was under $100 when I did it in 2005. I knew everything that I was told what sold me on taking the tour was like you was access to the apt. We did not get to take our time in the apt or hang out on the balcony.
I waited to watch this until after I did the tour yesterday. I agree with your review. You’re essentially paying to see/hang out in Walt’s apartment. While the Main Street portion didn’t reveal anything most superfans already knew, it did provide a unique opportunity to “stop and smell the roses”. I’d never made Main Street a destination; it was just a neat place to pass through as you entered Disneyland. I spent time looking at all the touches and taking in the atmosphere; appreciating details I’d never noticed before. The apartment portion was a dream come true. Agree that it was not rushed, and I felt we had just the right amount of time. I also lucked out and had a personal tour with only one other person plus our guide. (She said the group before had the full 10, plus an extra 2 that missed their original start time).
Overall, it was worth it to me just to see the apartment and patio, but definitely think it’s overpriced at $160.
Main Street USA has so many ties to Walt Disney! That is HIS story! So I love the choice they made in regards to the tour. Yes, it’s shorter. Yes, it probably is a bit steep in price. But after seeing this video (and huge kudos goes out to Guest Relations CM Nick), now I want to check this tour out in the future! Might not be soon, but I am open to checking it out sometime! Brickey, your video is great companion to Marcy Carriker Smothers’s book “Walt’s Disneyland.” Like someone else said, this is a true love letter to Disneyland! Really enjoyed your music choice in the background!
Thank you, Brickey!
Between you, Provost Park Pass, and Freshbaked, you all have been posting some amazing and positive content! Keep up the good work!🤗🤗👍🏻👍🏻🎃🎃
Tha k you for sharing what you did and holding back everything else about this tour. I will be taking it Wednesday and am very much looking forward to all it has to offer. Of course, my main reason is to experience the apartment while picking up a few tidbits along the way. Can’t wait!
I watched both videos today of the vip and Walt’s apartment tour. I loved how you documented it. Giving us enough without spoiling it. Or giving that little extra info that makes it magical. Thank you!
You should get a job at Disneyland giving guided tours of the park
Those are not the original things in that apt that where their tho when he lived there, imagine if it was OMG!!
I’m so excited to return to Disneyland in two weeks, I’ve never done a tour but really would love to, thanks again for an amazing video.
Welcome HOME

You’re not supposed to take pictures or film in there. You can get kicked out of Disney for that.

I thought the apartment was in the castle.

What a DREAM!!!! Yes, Disneyland is the BEST park by far. Nothing else can touch the nostalgia and Hollywood history we have at Disneyland 🏰✨💖
For many years, any P.R. photo shoot inside the park HAD to have people in the frame– an empty park scene was verbotten.
