I know that i don't really like gamestop because they try to push you to get a membership but i feel bad for the employees because they generally care about their customers it's cool that you were able to get those games for free.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it now – GameStop can be great. Love when people do this kind of stuff. I had a similar experience when an employee had a box of games that was part of a trade in that they couldn’t take. They gave me the box and I was a happy camper.
That sounds like a great experience to have a fan give you a gift. I'd take that as a sign that you're starting build up a community around your channel, congratulations on that.
That's awesome bro Gamestop gave me a stack of games a few years back for ps3, 360 & wii. he was just like do you want them if not we are going to throw them in the trash. i was like ill take them thanks
The fact that these games are considered retro makes me feel old as hell 😂
I had a GameStop employee give me a PS4 racing wheel and pedals one time, that they couldn't take in, and the guy just left it there. Gotten some free games in the past when they were pennying out some of their games too. I noticed Couple of those games are actually still tradable in their system, albeit only for like a buck or two. They may take more of those in again soon, as it looks like they are taking in a lot more retro stuff now. Bunch of stuff just started populating on the website again, including the older cartridge stuff.
That's just super awesome.
