I understand how some people may say “Teaching the muslims the basics of Islam and its rituals is realistic and will eventually lead to better unity”. This premise is a derogatory one that labels a majority of muslims as illiterate in regards to their deen which requires evidence to prove. I know from experience and conversations with MSAs and Highschool MSAs that most of the practicing youth are far above needing to be taught wudu, salah, importance of dhikr after Fajr. Knowledge isn’t the problem. Acting upon it is. And nobody will act unless they are inspired with that knowledge. And inspiration does not come without a grand vision that is worked towards. So what will increase the Imaan and correct the actions of the muslims that are falling into sin isn’t to teach them the basics of the rituals. It is to inspire them with the mission of Islam which is to liberate the world from Injustice and bring it back to the divine guidance of god. From darkness to light.

salaam alaikum bro, I've been doing khutbahs for about the same time as you at my local uni. All my khutbahs have been political pretty much, but i've only been criticised a couple of times. And my response to that criticism was, none of my khutbahs are political. They are all about the fundamentals of the deen which the muslims have forgotten. For example, the verse in surah Al Fath, the believers are merciful to each other. It's literally a description of what a believer is. If you're the opposite, harsh on the believers, then you are the opposite of a believer. Or when ramadhan approaches, everyone is reminded from the minbar that ramadhan is the month of the quran's revelation and is told the verse "kutibah alaikum as saum". But what about kutibah alaikum al qitaal ? its in the same quran, the same surah. A sign of how secular we've become, everyone fasts, but j1had is abandoned, even though Allah commands it with the same expression! Or take surah Al Hadeed v25 -why was Islam revealed ? So that people might live in justice. Take surah Al fajr – it's one of the first surahs revealed, Allah is announcing that a big change is coming, to remove corruption and oppression. The same with surah Al Asr.
I don't generalize about the muslims who attend the khutbah, and I don't agree totally that what Izz abd as salaam may Allah have mercy on him said applies generally today. The level of the muslims isn't like it was then. For some, they know enough just to fulfill the obligation of the friday prayer, and the friday prayer is for the remembrance of Allah. Sure, most established khateebs and institutions dont talk about controversial subjects on purpose, even though they know, and thats partly why we're in this mess (the oppression, fear and threats are also reasons). But the muslims love the deen and there's more hope in them than there was in Ta'if, which the beloved prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam was given the choice to destroy. So if the message is clear enough, and everyone can see that it's a fundamental part of what Islam is, then people will understand and it's what they want to and need to know and what they've been starved of. Related to this, I once asked someone who knew Shaikh Taqi ud deen an Nabahani, rahimullah, what was special about him, and he said "he could see the political aspect in everything in the quran and sunnah". But there are few people who can. May Allah guide your dawa.
Very deep and beneficial akhi. ❤
Amazing, I hope you will succeed and never give up! Give advice to the youth to train martial arts, to be strong, to be the heroes of this world. We even don't have to win wars if we win hearts all around us. If we help one homeless guy stand back on his feet again, just imagine what inspiring stories he has to tell after that. Selam alejkum from Bosnia!

Such a beautiful video. Almost made me cry. Because I relate so to it. May Allah bless you! It was writings of maulana madudi (R.A) and Iqbal (R.A). That Islam is a system. Allah taught through them and few other scholars. Now Allah is teaching me again through a beloved teacher of mine. About politics. About economics. About social issues. Because Islam is a blueprint- a divine system from Allah. And without that we'll never be able to uplift this zulm on people. I used to write about a lot of things. But lately all my pen writes now is about justice. About opression. About This mission of Islam that we seem to have forgotten. Because now my pen refuses to be ignorant. Wallahi. May Allah keep firm on this path and allow many others to enter into it.
May Allah bless you brother.. 🤍
youre 7 feet though couldnt pout explanation mark note
you need to provide sources, otherwise calling something haram when its not said under hadith or quran is a big sin.
SubhanAllah! Such a powerful message to the ummah! In sha Allah ta’ala I’ll benefit from this and share this video with others in order to spread our mission! Jazakallah khair ya akhi❤️
Baarakallah fee 3ilmik wa 3amalik. Your words have weight.
Is there a link for the vid without music
As Salamu Alaykum brother. Much love and respect to you, may Allah keep you firm upon the path of righteousness and knowledge. I benefitted a lot from the video especially the historical aspects which you brought up which every muslim seriously needs to be educated on. I believe you are sincere and the heart of your message is a very important one, however I feel obligated to offer you some advice. At around 12:50 you speak about enjoining the good and forbidding the evil with regards to the muslim rulers and how they are merely muslim majority lands, but not muslim lands. In a comment I think you speak about the obligation of j1h4d. Brother, I absolutely agree with you that khutbahs need to about what the audience needs to hear. However, these topics where it seems you might be doing your own ijtihaad of certain verses can lead to problems. Yes, khutbahs absolutely need to address the actual problems of muslims and be political in nature, however the khutbah also needs to be in accordance to the level of knowledge of the khateeb. The khateeb should not be going up and doing his own explanation of the verses or ijtihaad in the case of sensitive political issues that are only to be addressed by the mujtahideen and the highest levels among the ulema. These topics require the speaker to come from a place of deep knowledge and islamic scholarship, in order for them to not fall into mistakes. I still think that you must keep your khutbahs political in nature and address the problems of the ummah. If you ask me, the state of the muslims in the west in not one where they need to be hearing about the obligation of j1h4d or anything even close to that level. They are at the level where they need to be reminded of the obligations of the daily salah in jama'ah at the masjid, of keeping away from major sins, of staying away from imitating the kuffar and making hijrah from these non-muslim lands for whoever is able. Other issues like talking about the muslim rulers, establishing a caliphate, j1h4d etc need to be left to scholars or at most high level students of knowledge.
May Allah keep us steadfast upon this deen, and alleviate the shortcomings of this Ummah and lift from us the humiliation that has befallen us. This ummah fell to this level, ultimately, due to our own shortcomings in establishing the obligations in this religion, and our failure to stick to the Qur'an and the Sunnah. Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves; an establishment of a khilafah tomorrow will not make a difference if the condition of the ummah itself does not change. And i think it's fair to believe that the khilafah won't be established until the ummah does change.
I highly recommend this short video by Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX_H0EfjcJc&t=195s
Barak Allah feekum my brother, may Allah keep us steadfast.
can't be sure about your stances akh as ive only brushed through this vid, but sounds like a dangerous field to into. dangerous in the sense of your religion. these are big issues which the true Ulama afraid to speak on (afraid on getting it wrong and being questioned and accounted by Allah)
Islam isn't a political movement – it without a doubt has high regard to political importance but that's not the stage for people like me and you.
Subhanallah. I never knew that there were RULES regarding the khutbah.
subhanallah, truly opened my eyes, we need to better for the sake of allah inshaallah ta'ala
Being a revert to Islam, I agree with your statements. I feel that they follow a protocol with no real benefit and only pinpoints typical values where as speaking about the truth in this world is frowned upon for fear of being shunned by the governing bodies. We have to take into account that our voices are marginalized because our imaams seem to be more interested in putting bread on Thier table doing extra work like Uber driving, money seems to be the agenda for most. Very sad. May Allah open their heart and minds. Ameen
I gotta say you put out an important message here. When you are trying to walk the path that Rasulullah SAW showed, and youre getting negative feedbacks from the people who once appreciated you, dont worry, that means youre on a right path. May The Almighty give you strength
congrats on 1K bro, big mile stone for any creator. whats the mic ure using btw?
nice background change btw
I urge everyone in the comments to do their own research and seek knowledge and not blindly listen to what this brother is saying, especially when he is saying things like 13:07. I’m sure that he did not mean to demean the Sunnah* like that just to assume the best of him, but it is still a very problematic statement. Also enjoining the good and forbidding evil has conditions that people should research before they blindly follow someone on YouTube that is not a scholar. This is including me, who is a nobody, don’t take my word for it, do your own research and seek knowledge inshaAllah. Look up what the prophet sallalahu alayhi wa sallam said about oppressive Muslim rulers in authentic ahadith in sahih bukhari and Muslim.
This topic really changed my perspective about the scholars . Alhamdulillah Im also a Daai of working for re establishment of Khilafah this will really help me to guide scholars. Insha Allah
If khutbas are limited just imagine imams would no longer be needed and Muslims cannot hear the khutba anymore
Ok, you, as a young man, should talk about so-called Muslims who are also drug dealers.. and all the fornacaters while wearing scarfs.
I am in the same state as you. It was a big blow for me. Huge shock. Can't describe.
JAZAKALLAH KHAIR!!
Surah al Kahf if you think about it does actually contain many answers that do indeed target the issues of the ummah, ofcourse one being that we need a caliphate. We should also remember that the fact that we have secular states and no caliphates in the modern day links strongly to the FITNA OF DAJJAL. One of the most noticeable things about Surah al Kahf is that we should recite it EVERY JUMMAH DAY because it is the surah that is said to be a PROTECTION AGAINST DAJJAL and HIS FITNA. Also the fact that we dont talk about the establishment of the caliphate i think strongly links to how now we are so use to accepting everything our secular govs hand us that we have sadly forgotten about islam due to our own cowardness in battling against the secular dajjalic political system.
If we look at the first story in surah al kahf, the one about the sleepers of the cave. The sleepers in the cave escaped from their people and oppressive ruler as they were forcing them towards shirk. In the same way our leaders and political systems are secular and impose shirk, thus the importance of the caliphate. This also links to Dajjal in which Dajjal presents his "own political system" that is a deception as it is actually built totally on shirk and is quite a dangerous fitna. And so Surah al Kahf gives us major hints and clues as to what types of fitnas Dajjal will spread, so far i only mentioned one but analysing this surah is extremely important for muslim scholars and discussing it within their khutbahs…
What's ur thoughts on Imam ahmad rida khan
Jzk Allah. A very important and critical topic. Of course topics that get people out of their comfort zone and/or tells them they have much more responsibilities will make some uncomfortable and ask to stop doing so. Stay steadfast brother the world and humanity needs more people like you
Salam, how can I reach out to you? I don’t see your telegram.
Asalamualaikum. Immensely insightful video subhan'allah. May Allah reward you for your efforts. You were talking about how true scholarship has been hijacked in the most respected places of Islamic knowledge. May I ask which books / resources you have read to find this out as I am interested in learning about it. Jazakallah khayr.
