I Found The Weirdest Tools on Temu!

Are Temu Tools worth it? We all know Temu’s reputation can be a little spotty, but I decided this week to trial out this site for tools and see what quirky pickups I could find!

This may be one of my favourite tool hauls on this channel so far! To say Temu tools are quirky would be an understatement, half of these tools I cannot believe even exist and I could never put in a real tool kit! Join in the tool talk below to get involved and let me know which tool stood out to you!

  1. Great Video. The joys and woes of purchasing from Temu. I've been buying from them as well as Wish for quite a while and have found that generally, you pay for what you get. As you've discovered some things are really good for what you are paying and sometimes paying a bit more for something that looks a bit ropey and having a punt is worth it. Hand tools I find as you have are just the same sort of cheap items you can get from most places at just about the same price so I avoid them. If there's a more expensive tool that looks a good price, why not? I tend to take the pictures with some scepticism and have a really good look to see if any manipulation has been done. I was particularly interested in the "street Light" as I'm thinking of getting one or more myself and seeing if it was any good. Very bad packaging, one of the only faults with ordering. Knowing how far the items have to go this is very often a let-down and with items shipped just in their own packaging within a non-protective bag it's no wonder they arrive battered.
Overall Temu gets a bad reputation, largely undeserved as long as you Use common sense and have a really good look at what you are getting then as you've found out. There are bargains to be had.

  2. That wrench extender is actually way better than you give it credit for, double wrenching have several failure points (a minimum of three places the two wrenches can break) but using the extender you only have one point of failure and that is the working end of the wrench being extended.
It also holds the wrench pretty securely so if reach is the problem and not the amount of force required then the extender works but double wrenching doesn't. It also gives you the ability to use a half inch ratchet or breaker bar with a wrench.

  3. I really love the cordless jet washer. I had a standard jet washer but hate having to drag it out and then deal with extension leads and the hose pipe. I really love the idea of just a bucket of water and that thing to clean off the bird poop. We like to feed the local birds and unfortunately they like to say thanks by pooping on my nice new car lol. This would make life so much easier. x

  4. Disappointed about the streetlamp light being broken because I'd actually considered one of those from Temu. To give Temu credit, their returns is faultless. Send them a picture and they refund the money. Never even known them ask for stuff to be returned. They do now however ship some items from UK warehouses, so maybe they might charge their returns policy in time.

  5. I have bought a fair bunch of items from temu tools, gardening stuff. While most of it was good and only a couple of items I regret buying. I think some of the tools are from prototyping where the tooling is sold and then made in a garage.
Some of the prices you paid are quite high as I seen that plier set for under a fiver, also rrp. is nonsense what you do is compare it to the items sold on amazon for the actual rrp.

  6. How did you manage to buy anything from the Temu app? It has so many pop-ups and other crap that prevents me from even browsing, let alone purchasing anything. Unusable, in my experience.

  7. Hi Johnathon
I’ve had the foldable level for 12 months. I work abroad so it’s great to pack in a travel toolbox.
It is really accurate I’ve compared it to my stabila level and it’s just as good.
I install lots of trunking and it’s great for going round beams or wall supports also great round chimney breasts

  8. Some of Temu stuff is very good, some not so, but that also goes for Amazon and eBay, it is not their fault though nor is the representation or deceptive photo's as it's the sellers that do that. Temu can't monitor every single item advertised. Also I would say you did not not scan the site fully, I have that ""huge"" torch, I was so impressed I bought another, BUT I only paid Around 12:00 and they have a beam so strong you could practically walk along it besides other functions. A lot of the items you have there I have also bought, and not paid anything like the prices you are quoting, so I guess your not scanning the site fully. Returns, I find their return very inconvenient as they expect you to re parcel the item and take it to the hub of whoever delivered it, mostly very very sadly Evri/Hermes, probably the most incompetent carrier EVER. BUT you are allowed one free return per delivery unless of course several items are broken, they credit you or refund, the credit is done immediately and usually is in your account within an hour, crediting back to your payment method takes longer, they do however ask for a photo to show the problem or fault, and will accept any item back for refund. Whew, and lastly they do have distribution centers All over the place , Ireland, England and in ?Holland or Denmark can't remember which, also other places hence the different delivery times, I have on occasion had a Temu delivery the very next gay, by Royal Mail. My golden rule though is check check check, some items are cheaper elsewhere and indeed some cheaper bought from private online sellers or even the makers.. All that said I would not buy an single item on Temu over £25:00 , I would not buy anything that I could not afford the loss on. As for your broken "street light" take a picture do a return, they will refund you without quibble and without asking you to return it!

  10. I've got a similar power washer, got it off ebay and it uses my existing makita batteries. Much cheaper than the Worx product. I use it for washing mountain bikes just take a wayer canister with you and stick the hose in.
