  2. The art on this title is spectacular, even though it sometomes comes across like a "fireman calendar". The story so fas has been great, and the character are well crafted. There is even a particular chapter where the use of light and shadow made it almost cinematic. Highly recommended.

  3. Just went to go read this, and two things. Hot mama is Urich hot af. Second, the portrayal of religion in this series is extremely interesting. The way they show how pagan tribes believed many different things, and how the appeal of a centralized God and system was intriguing to many pagan tribes. In the centuries following the fall of Rome, Christianity had spread immensely, and many missionaries would travel to meet Germanic tribes like Urich's. Their unwavering faith made many pagans want to try their religion, which once converted they gave land to these monks to build monasteries. It's so cool seeing how they took a fictionalized Europe and portrayed the dynamic.

The barbarians that were named the Angles, a part of the two groups that formed the Anglo Saxons, got their name because the Romans thought they were so beautiful that they looked like Angels. You can see that in the main character, and I think that's a cool detail even though this is definitely a thirst trap (that's working).

  4. I droped it after 10-15 chapters don't remember. Art is phenomenal but the story is dang slow and a little boring. I dunno why though.
Just waiting for Mount hua one to come back for next season. Also many other from Asura scan are great as well.
Hellmut is a new and interesting one. Deadbeat noble or novel's extra.
Reaper of the drifting moon is 🐐 goat

  5. I agree, this is gold. This manhwa is very well done on narration as well on artistic side. It's like Conan the barbarian during the late Roman Empire / Early medieval age.

  6. I read like 25 chapters of it or so. I like it, but the plot feels too loose for me. A barbarian strong man discovering religion is what I got from it so far… otherwise it has pretty good action and character development.

  8. My favorite Manhwas are: Lightning Degree and FFF-Class Trash Hero, honorable mention: Is this Hero for reall Because it's from the same author. I'll defenitively check this out.

  9. Lul, I had that Manhwa bookmarked but also put it in the "meh"-category and never read it.

A LN i can recommend is "Road to Kingdom". I think it also has a manga but I only read the light novel.
It's basically an ero manga where 25 percent is just the MC f ing some women but it's actually really good. Like the story just makes you wanna continue reading and every single character is so well written and has so much depth just by how the dialouges are written.
A very pleasant experience you can enjoy while throwing in some wanks here and there.

MC is basically Guts from Berserk and Rance combined and some of the story reminded me so much of the golden age arc.

It's still ero so don't start if you can't deal with that.

  10. i have no problem with cultivation, i have no problem with regression, i have no problem with reincarnation.

my problem is the way they are written.

i have read manga about a guy that bakes bread, ANYTHING can be entertaining if the author is not a moron.

but, the thing is, the authors of most chinese mangas/novels are more interesting in copying and reselling the same old crap.

there's a reason why duolo dalu(NOVEL) IS STILL one of the best works in the media. its not perfect, it has alot of problems, and the author loses his hand in the last stretch, but its still far superior to the vast majority.
