Yes, It still works… but if you're from the future, when you start the save, catch it. Look at the stats and then reset and catch again. If they have different stats then that means those are indeed a different pokemon meaning it still works.
Anyone watching this in 2023 of march it still works I got both shiny alpha Electivire and shiny alpha Rhyperior

Do the Massive Mass Outbreaks come out again after you complete the missions? Because I’ve completed the mission & caught me an alpha Pichu & more.

hello, may i ask, for normal mass out break such as the dusclops one, do i just save before entering, finish the outbreak, reset my game and go at it again until a shiny comes out? because im not sure if the spawn changes, any replies will be appreciated

Works as of April 2023 i was also shiny hunting a alpha gligar and got a normal shiny one its safe to say this will always be in the game
