  1. The two toned dresser…. I wonder how it would look with a transfer on the top drawers? Or a stencil? Something that will blend or compliment the color of the bottom… also maybe a paint wash to dial down some of the orangey tone. I saw one of your other "shorts" where you did a paint wash and blended some dark marker to add depth (it was a round oak table) I think that might be good on this one too…. along with a stencil or "subtle" transfer… FYI, I LOVE seeing how creative you're becoming! You're really growing as a furniture artist! You've always been talented but I see you branching out and doing more! Love it!!! ❤️

  2. OMG!!! That $900 9 drawer dresser!! Gorgeous!! Awesome!! Beautiful!! You go girl!! Lol. Just being honest, if I had the money, I would buy that and redecorate my entire bedroom to match it!!! I LOVE IT!!!

  3. On the white dresser… I would flip your hardware to black instead of silver…this may help it to sell better…also distress it a little to make it look more farmhouse. I sell quite a bit of farmhouse finishes. People say it's going out but i think otherwise. Also…on the green/tan dresser…maybe paint the green black. I like the two -tone look and it sells good for you but i think it would look better black instead of green.

  4. The easiest way to improve the two tone dresser is to make it all one color. The green on the bottom doesn’t appeal to me, but it would be better if it was all the same green. That particular style of dresser just doesn’t do well for the two tone look. There’s no real division line on the dresser.

  5. On your 3rd flip I would paint the other half the same green and leave only the top in the natural colour. It is a gorgeous piece and you would get more money because you would be giving more clients what they like. Thanks, I think your work is amazing. I watch you from London Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

  6. I would paint the upper drawers the same color as the lower drawers and leave the top alone. I think that will make a difference to the public. My favorite piece was the pour piece. That, to me, was close to breath taking! I would buy that in a second! I also liked the table and chairs that were donated. I like the idea of the top being almost natural and the rest painted. Thanks to you, Nieman and Harrison for all of the work you did this year for all of us. It's been a ride following you on your travels to different places, homes and spaces! In that regard, I hope it is a little calmer for you, but you never know what is coming around the next bend in the road. Happy New Year!

  7. I used to visit our local refuse tips for old furniture items. Clean the woods and feed them, keeping their original style. Only the very old pieces. Dove tails are the first sign of great old workmanship. It was a Labour of love to bring them back showing their beauty. Horsehair stuffing, oh the memories! I had two outlets for selling. Long before social media outlets! So yes, I get you. 👍😃💗

  8. Also bought Six solid Oak dining chairs for myself recently. Price equates to just £8.50p each. Not old chairs but very well made. Cleaned, fed the wood, redid the seats, ended up selecting a light Grey Velvet to finish the seats. Price if you bought these from new? Between £250/£300 each!! I know! It shocked us too! The home they came from was “Palatial” sat in its own grounds. Yeap! Affluent people.

  9. I can't believe you ruined that French Provincial dresser by painting it black. What were you thinking? It is no longer French Provincial, and no wonder nobody wants it. After that, I couldn't watch any more.

  12. I adore the French Provincial dresser in black. It is gorgeous and really makes a statement. I'm thinking with the white chest of drawers, get some glam silver and crystal hardware. Some girls love the chi-chi look.
