  2. Dude paid $33k for this junk!?

For $10-15k you can get an old (and clean) Ford Ranger 4X4, V6, w/rear jump seats and rear doors. It's the exact same vehicle, but better at towing/hauling and with much more practicality because of the rear doors. If you don't mind some rust and wear, you can actually score one of those Rangers (or identical Mazda B3000/4000) for only $7-10k. You could buy FOUR V6 Rangers for the price of this one 4-cylinder truck.

And if you think the Ranger is too small, go ahead and get an old F-150. They're roughly the same price. And if you actually WANT a 4-cylinder truck, the 4-cyl Rangers are a dime a dozen. You could probably by 6 or 7 of them for the price of this Tacoma!

This guy says he wants a "plow truck", yet he pays $33k for a nice paint job and a Toyota badge. I'm utterly confused. I LOVE Tacomas, but I wouldn't spend more than $10k on this neutered "rig".

  3. I owned a Mercedes that was built in Mexico and Scotty is absolutely right. My car was a lemon, the electronics failed, safety system code errors often, and the throttle actuator would freeze in the winter. I would never buy another car made in Mexico ever.

  4. 1:55 I agree with you scotty, glad Toyota is using the old fashioned way for keys. None of that push button stuff. I hate push buttons to, its more crap to break in my opinion

  5. I've gone through 2 rear shocks in this thing. My fault cause the bed was over weight by 500 pounds 🤣. I will admit I hate the throttle response in this thing. I catch myself switching it to sport mode when I'm in a hurry cause man it's terrible. The fuel lasts me a week from my home to home remodeling projects. My year 2017 went threw a fuel injector clog that was fixed under warranty. And that was 2 years ago. No issues other than that. I will say this. Make sure you get 100k maintenance.

  6. Hell first gen tacos still sell upwards of 10k if they're low enough mileage/conditions

4runners more so ALTHO they have that legendary 5vzf engine or whatever their called so 120k miles is like broken in

  7. With the new Tacoma trucks you want the 2.7L 4 cylinder, they are way more reliable than the new 3.5L v6. Toyota made a huge mistake getting rid of that rock solid 4.0L v6. That Tacoma is almost perfect with it's reliable 4 cylinder and 4 wheel drive, if he bought it with a manual transmission then it would be the perfect little truck.

  8. I'm confused, Toyota has such great quality, but a Toyota made in Mexico is substandard, why.? Can't Toyota oversee or make sure the same qualities go into the assembly of their vehicles. You claim that the big 3 don't care about their products made there.! So why the leinancy. Oh, I forgot, it's a Toyota. You talk out both sides of your mouth.! And you're loyal followers eat it up.! Like sheep to the slaughter.! Funny, you only answer questions from your post. But not once have you answered any of MY questions concerning your double talk.!

  9. Yep it’s made in Mexico but you americans still buy a lot even more than mexicans, as a 2018 tacoma owner I could tell you that’s the best truck in general terms in the market
