I dont want to make this video. Time to say goodbye to the 75?

This is a video I REALLY didnt want to make. The flipping series ended when the Rover 75 arrived as I liked it so much, but the time has come for it to find a new loving home, so some final love in the shape of rust proofing and a last big clean.

  1. Somebody will love the Rover, I'm sure. Just think of the fun you will have with the next car. An thank you for buying me all these great cars. I do appreciate it. Especially since moving out to more tropical environs, I don't get the choice I used to in the UK. You are a very generous man Mr Furious.

  2. Sorry for your loss Matt, but I think it is a very good decision for you and your family. Better for the fleet as a whole. The new buyer will get a great 75!

  3. Hey matt, i think in 5 years time you'll truly regret selling the 75. As they slowly get scrapped the good ones will remain, including yours. The w123 as good as you love it, its too far gone and should go, just my opinion of course,

  4. I wonder if the underseal manufacturers would ever consider putting a warning ring a few inches from the end of the tube to warn you when it's close to giving you a face full of spray!

  5. Unfortunately, I think a 75 in this condition and mileage will sell quickly. You do look genuinely sad to be selling up. I've just bought a Club SE diesel, so I'm just at the start of my '75 learning curve' 🙂 and you're right about the interior being a nice place to sit. Some underneath rust protection is in my future. (oh and my garage door is also broken!)

  6. A sad day indeed, a future classic of that there is no doubt. But you cant keep them all Matt. You absolutely deserve top dollar for this, hopefully a nice few grand for the other projects 🙂

  7. That is a difficult decision Matt but understand your need to keep cars coming to the channel. Hope it goes to someone that will appreciate what it is. Interestingly, your video has reaffirmed my decision to keep mine. ATB.

  8. I’ve always had a soft spot for these, and as lots of folks have said, it deserved to do better… but it’s launch, and subsequent sales were essentially ‘assasinated’ by the then CEO of BMW😢

  9. It’s a pity this beautiful car is leaving the fleet, I wouldn’t say I’m a Rover enthusiast, but I do like this one, it really does look very prestige.
Good luck with the sale Matt, I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I will miss this car!.
