This is a video I REALLY didnt want to make. The flipping series ended when the Rover 75 arrived as I liked it so much, but the time has come for it to find a new loving home, so some final love in the shape of rust proofing and a last big clean.

Not to nitpick, but weren’t all rovers owned by rover at some point in time?
Just sell that awful square Volvo instead 😂
Whats happening with the P6 Mat??
Get rid of the 200VI instead. Just my opinion.
In Australia these are as popular as a pork chop at a Jewish barbie que
THat is a great shame the 75 leaving the fleet the USA gas guzzler should go with the old Merc
Somebody will love the Rover, I'm sure. Just think of the fun you will have with the next car. An thank you for buying me all these great cars. I do appreciate it. Especially since moving out to more tropical environs, I don't get the choice I used to in the UK. You are a very generous man Mr Furious.
Bite the bullet and sell it…Otherwise you have Money sitting there wasting away…
Sorry for your loss Matt, but I think it is a very good decision for you and your family. Better for the fleet as a whole. The new buyer will get a great 75!
Hey matt, i think in 5 years time you'll truly regret selling the 75. As they slowly get scrapped the good ones will remain, including yours. The w123 as good as you love it, its too far gone and should go, just my opinion of course,
Lovely car excellent condition it’s a shame you’re selling it! I hope the new potential owner will look after it…
I'll take this interior rather than any modern plastic full touch screen monstruosity they sell us today.
Grest idea, i think it's the right decision to move it on. Is the trading up series going to come back now?
When the exhaust gets hot, the lanolin starts to burn off, and the new owner goes "Why do I suddenly really fancy a doner kebab?"
We used to call those marks on the seats "Tony's" back in the day!
It’s a stunning example and I can tell you love to. Someone will get a wonderful car. 👍👍
Sad to see it go… Hope it goes to someone who also appreciates it as you do.
I wonder if the underseal manufacturers would ever consider putting a warning ring a few inches from the end of the tube to warn you when it's close to giving you a face full of spray!
Unfortunately, I think a 75 in this condition and mileage will sell quickly. You do look genuinely sad to be selling up. I've just bought a Club SE diesel, so I'm just at the start of my '75 learning curve' 🙂 and you're right about the interior being a nice place to sit. Some underneath rust protection is in my future. (oh and my garage door is also broken!)
A sad day indeed, a future classic of that there is no doubt. But you cant keep them all Matt. You absolutely deserve top dollar for this, hopefully a nice few grand for the other projects 🙂
Too many adverts ! Its not really about the car !!!!!!! Clickbait
Hope it goes to a good home 👍
That is a difficult decision Matt but understand your need to keep cars coming to the channel. Hope it goes to someone that will appreciate what it is. Interestingly, your video has reaffirmed my decision to keep mine. ATB.
I’ve always had a soft spot for these, and as lots of folks have said, it deserved to do better… but it’s launch, and subsequent sales were essentially ‘assasinated’ by the then CEO of BMW😢
Ahhh… well you can buy mine when I sell! 🤫
Get an estate version.😁
If i could buy it i would in a heartbeat, love the 75, a truly underrated brit future classic
Sorry it has to go but good luck selling it.
👌👌
In the late 90s this was my dream Car. I drooled over the the 75 Tourer V6.
It’s a pity this beautiful car is leaving the fleet, I wouldn’t say I’m a Rover enthusiast, but I do like this one, it really does look very prestige.
Good luck with the sale Matt, I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I will miss this car!.
Matt I wish my 75 looked that good. The paint is shot and it needs the sills welding 🙁
