  1. 21:35 that's because unlike the rest of other developed nations. The residents are allowed (and dumb enough) to buy the apartments before they are complete. The construction companies are not penalized hard enough, are allowed to pass any debts to the buyer (gross oversimplification), and finish them with sub-par material (look up tofu-dredg construction). Most of these buildings are estimated to only last 20-40 years. Other nations with higher standards in housing construction easily exceed 100+ years. Its a serious issue in china that is contributing to their housing bubble being about to burst way worse than it did in the US in the 2000s. The channel "china insights" has done quite a few videos on this.

  2. I think a lot of somebody knew that drinking dirty water was bad for you. In fact, id go as far as to say the majority of the normal, working class, knew that drinking dirty water was bad for you…but, the dirty working class weren't the ones hiring the historians.

  3. 22:38 I remember hearing about this castle village called Burj Al Babas in Turkey. The locals filed a lawsuit against the developers, claiming that the company destroyed trees and harmed the environment. The building of this "fairy Town" enraged locals who were frustrated that the castles didn’t resemble anything in the area, particularly the historical Ottoman-style mansions. Disney in the primarily Muslim country was a bad idea and it may never be finished.

  4. Could you imagine how would today's provaxer fanatic medical society react to Ignac Semmeilweis and his idea to simply was hands?
They would simply put him to prison for being an unscientific heretic, for spreading fake news instead of supporting violent vaccination programs 😀
(actually something similar happened with the guy in his time, too. So, humankind is greatful for its heroes 😀 )

  6. If you’re gonna do a video like this and you’re gonna talk about removing diseases and bones from islands and stuff and cleaning them up, I thought you guys were gonna go into detail about how you would do that with the process would be behind removing these phones, the safety equipment like how do you protect yourself from the diseases how do you test for them? How long would the area be contaminated with or without the effort that sort of thing like this is More like a child’s thought experiment than anything else. This doesn’t feel impactful or informational in anyway
