Logan does age he just ages very slowly like he wasn't born an adult lol he was a kid at one point. And old people can be as grumpy as they want. Definately had major Last of Us vibes from this whole film its depressing, and when Charles and Laura were watching tv the movie that was on was actually one the actor had seen as a boy IRL

As messy as the Fox's Xmen timeline was, Logan is canon and it is the canon ending to Logan as a character.
The whole movie is set 5 years after the X-men Days of Future Past movie in the year of 2029. Logan is definitely one of the best comic book and a great end to the character.
Luckily for us, Hugh Jackman is putting his claws back on for a little while longer (or for one more movie) to be in the MCU for Deadpool 3. Marvel Studios now owns Xmen, Fantastic Four, and Deadpool which were formally owned by FOX.
They confrimed that they're getting Logan from a different timeline, so they won't touch the events of the Logan movie. From Ryan Reynolds "Logan takes place in 2029. Totally separate thing. Logan died in Logan. Not touching that."
This movie belongs to a different timeline…that's why things are different here as compared to previous original movies…The whole X-Men timeline goes crazy after the events of "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" (This probably also includes Deadpool movies)…You should checkout the X-Men timeline online!
Everything starts with "X-Men: First Class"….and then timeline 1 or T1: origins wolverine, x-men, x-2, The last stand, the wolverine…days of future past (although this happens in T1…the end of this movie gives rise to T2)….T2: ending of "days of future past", x-man: aplocalypse, dark phoenix, deadpool, logan, deadpool 2

@suzy & steejo you asked why wolverine seemed to be aging. The genetically engineered food had a mutant gene suppressant in it. Thats why there arent any new mutants and it weakens other mutants

My dad had dementia and it ended up killing him. If he had Prof X powers I'd be dead for trying to get him to drink water and eat. You're right when you say that's no way to live. I'm glad he's on to a better place now bc he was bed ridden and miserable but I miss him every day. I hate he had to go through that, he was a good man

This considered one of the best superhero movies ever made. It is cannon and the end of the Logan character (in this Universe). Now that the MCU is officially using the multiverse all the X-Men and Spiderman movies from Fox are cannon just from a different universe and Marvel can bring any character back from any world at any time. This movie could have been much better but as it is it’s the best Marvel movie ever made. The only reason I say could have been much better and it’s the only part of this movie I have an issue with is presenting a family that takes them in only to have them all slaughtered. The movie doesn’t gain a thing by having this happen and actually hurts the film more than helps. They could have exchanged the good family that took them in to the assholes who were picking on the farmer dad. Which they wound up having killed but it could have been they took Logan and company in and made them sleep in a barn when the bad guys arrive and start killing everybody. Still an amazing movie
Wolverine actually had several descendants over the years. At one point, he was tricked into killing them by a group of vengeful family members of his victims. In Old Man Logan, he had been tricked by Mysterio into killing the X-Men; fans assumed this was the case in the movie, until they heard the news radio broadcast. The brain of the world's most powerful psychic gets old enough to start misfiring, and you get what they tried to do with him to all mutants in X2.
It's canon. Deadpool 3 is set before this. Beyond that… we'll see what Disney does with mutants. They might even make Cyclops interesting… but I doubt it.

Well Hugh Jackman wanted a real movie as wolverine too make it his last time playing the character. But now we are getting Deadpool 3 and it will not mess with this movie in the timeline. A great new year too you all ✌️ grtz from 🇧🇪
