wait… why didn't you use Moss instead of grass? Moss can spread faster because all you need is bonemeal and ONE moss block so you don't need to wait a century for it to spread, and the detailing on not only the moss's texture but the extra bits it gives as well like the small trees and moss carpets will make the Beacon Appear BIGGER (edit: BUT! grass does look good with trees so good on ya there!)
