Bad water diverter or the contamination barrier!
Oh my haha thats some cliffhanger. Btw, maybe you've already noticed it, but dandelions, for the medic, need a forester to grow instead of a farmhouse. Specially handy now with al the sick beavers 🙁
Wow, that power tower idea is very cool!
You DECREASE the storage amount of your gravity batteries by building underneath it!!!
😂😂😂😂 Was watching the bad tide warning count down, then watching it flow through the system when you zoomed out, and the warnings pop up internally screaming at biffa to close the gates 😂😂😂
One thing though biffa, the word is everythinG not everythinK, are you from the Midlands at all? Seams everyone says it round here and I'm constantly correcting my son, parents and siblings 😂😂
The conspiracy theoriest in me doesn't believe that was an accident.
Now I'm going to have to watch next episode.
Well played biffa well played
You could also use dynamite to blow holes around your power tower to give more height for the batteries to fall / they will store more.
Should check out Skye Storme he had some pretty impressive Timberborn builds before his computer broke.😢
What if you take the chairs / paths out so the beavers don't cross the bad tide?
Delete the path through the contaminated water asap!
The beavers can still walk across the dam you built. It's a small detour, but they don't get contaminated further.
Also build a healer if you don't have one already
I was thinking when it said the bad tide was starting "did he close the gate? 🤔" Cause I know you cut out stuff that's not the most interesting sometimes, but I guess this wasn't one of those cases..
What if you built a way to drain the entire system? So if you overlook it, you can drain it and be ready for clean water?
Oh My Life!! What's going to happen! How many will die of dysentery!
I have to wait til next week?!
Was wondering why you didn't just put a power shaft vertically through the centre? wouldn't that have save you tons off material and time?
And that is why I place platforms over the rivers, 'cause sometimes swimming beavers is bad…
i feel like i missed out on whatching the earlier episodes – this guy so organised and everything makes sense he does (so much so that the times it dosnt it works out grate) compaired to a certain engeneer EDIT: LUL 🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂 don't forget to breathe
You could dynamite down around your tower to potentially increase the power even more
I can’t wait a whole week……😮😮😮
I want more timberborn!! 😅
Did you notice that building underneath the power tower robbed you of a few thousand power points? Perhaps you'll need to move your lodges a bit further away
What i am thinking what seemingly no one else is… why does Biffa not remove the stairs that lead into the contamined water? The beavers have a way around over a bridge further down. Just saying…
Oof. I believe you really need those dandelions now. Farmers dont plant them. Your arborists do, just like the blueberries. Get those going ASAP. I dont think you had tree planters close enough to the patch you designated this episode. You also might want a bigger patch now for all that medicine.
Also, im not sure if others mentioned it, but you can build barriers to keep contamination from badwater out of your crops I believe the folktail version also allows irrigation (hydration of your crops) idk if it irrigates with 100% badwater sources, but it should allow you to water your crops from that same river without the crop contamination and with at least less drying of crops. You also could just bridge the path over the river so they no longer get contaminated. Then you could start regrowing your crops hopefully sooner?
Otherwise, in general I think you'll still survive, though you may lose some beavers and struggle for a lil bit. Ive never experienced widespread contamination though so it may be worse than I'd ever consider. You may have just zombified your whole population. Good luck getting anything done while they are sick. 😅
Lol… that is why we have auto-save. Just go back and redo 🙂
Do you have a list of mods for this current playthrough?
17:15 do not build under batteries, you loose capacity, you can build a stack houses to make power go up/down
He biffa just a quick tip about the power tower they can store mot power the further they can fall but you started to build around it causing the power storage be less
hph = horse power hours (sorry if someone already commented this but couldn't see it in the top comments)
sure, the Tower of Power has been built.. BUT AT WHAT COST!? 😱
Oh Biffa, you silly sausage
Uh whoops! Thatd be a reload from an autosave for me!
Biffa: Lets do this like this and put this like that.
Me: *Screaming at the screen* Biffa, the river! BIFFA ,THE RIVER!!!!!
You pulled a RCE on this one! Good… job?
When I was a wee little kid I had a balloon and started trampling on it. My mom said it's gonna pop. I kept trampling on it. The balloon popped. I cried.
Biffa noooo! -Was my reaction the moment I saw the badtea coming in. Well, time to reflect and have a brew ☕🌊
You should build in a failsafe at the end of the canal so you can drain it completely and just make it dry that will make it so the crops won't die if it's short
Hi Biffa! would you try Infection Free Zone Prologue? Or not a type of the game for you?
After the bad tide problem is gone you can dynamite under the gravity bateries, gives you even more power when they drop
Hph means horse power per hour😅
i did the exact same thing, TWICE in my first colony. Once when i only have about 40-ish beavers, and again when i had 100… My healers were working overtime to get everyone back to rights.
Aw, those contaminated beavers will be fine XD
They'll just be permanently incapacitated once the radiation kicks in, and will be unable to do any beaver-related tasks until they die or are treated with medicine for 10 days. It's fine XD
Ohhhhh… you done did it now, Biffa! What will the Beavers think of their tea drinkin' ruler and guide now? You're gonna have some splainin' to do at the next Beaver Town Hall! If I were you, I'd pack some extra soul soothin', nerve calmin' teas in your Biffa Back Pack. You're gonna need it!
But I wouldn't worry too much about it. I think you'll be ok. It's only when they begin chanting "Exterminate!" or "Delete!" That's when you can start worrying!
hph – horsepower hours… really weird measure of power over time, normally would be described as kw-h
"I'm SO on the ball, I tell ya". Seconds later…
If you're looking for some additional cool builds, Skye Storme has a really great video for some compact storage that you might want to check out.
