I build a QUAD-TRACK tank in Sprocket Geometric internals!

This is more tracks than typically come as standard on all typical shelf purchased models of tank.

Who buys tanks on a shelf?

  1. The only vehicle with a quad track layout that I have seen is the Marienwagen gepanzert, a WWI German tankish thing based on a prototype tracked car. I recommend the Landships II site for anyone wanting images or information on it.

  2. I think it’d be neat to make something like the prototype tank “Praying Mantis,” I’m not sure if it has a more specific name but it’s quite an unusual idea/design, and I feel like something really cool can be done with the same concept in Sprocket! Bovington Tank Museum/The Tank Museum seems to have some information on it if anybody is interested.

  3. Absolutely love how your tank turned out, but one thing I can’t wait for more than quad tracks and the ability to create whacky designs like this is trailing idlers lol. I want my tanks to have something like that.

  4. Probably the closest we ever got to quad tracks in this arrangement would be the strange ww1/interwar “tanks” that were more of cars with tracks replacing the wheels or some tractors with 2 fixed tracks on the rear and one on the front that pivots

  5. For a normal Conventional Tank like this Quad Tracks are Useless and unneccessary. Thats why i like the Halo Scorpion so much. its not your normal looking Tank its Sci-fi without going overboard like the Covanant.
