I Bought 9 BROKEN Xbox Elite Series 2 Controllers – Let’s Fix Them! A nice variety of issues including wear and tear, faulty buttons, and stick drift. Very typical controller issues but that doesn’t mean they’re always easy to fix. This should be fun.

  1. Anyone know the easiest way to fix the return to center on these elite series 2 controllers? My joysticks always fail to return to center and have a pretty large play in the center before you can feel the mechanical joystick actuate.

  3. I swear they used the worst quality parts on the series 2 I had three of them everyone had stick drift out of the box brand new!!! Then two of them had the RB shoulder button start acting up like double clicking about 5-6 months of owning…the third one was the LB shoulder…took them all apart it had nothing to do with the plastic mechanism that pushes the button on the board it was the actual button on the board that went bad….its sad seeing how expensive these controllers are…I can promise you the one where you just cleaned the rb button it will start to act up again I would clean the button and it would only last a day or two before it started miss clicking was so annoying
