  1. This was a cool exercise. I would love to see a PDF of these monsters. I am about to run a scenario that ChatGPT and I worked on together. I might have to try it for making a unique monster at some point.

  2. it will be very average. you have to put a lot more detail into anything you do in gpt. or everything u get will be generic and unbalanced. Think about each monster individually and your results will be truly amazing.

  3. Not to be too catty, but I wasn't impressed with the artwork, I mean it wouldn't even be included in a briering to an actual professional artist in relation to the monsters that were described. The Golem at least was a combo of some good ideas. Not a criticism on you. It was a good experiment. Maybe we need to take a course on Prompt engineering?

I would be violently angry if I paid a kickstarter for a book of monsters and I was given this art. Do don't try it! There was a map person that tried this with maps (Money for battle maps) and they were ALL BAD. They didn't tell us that the maps would be AI generated. But you could totally tell after the download. So Yeah, this has been tried and people were ANGRY AS HELL!

  4. This is cool, but definitely would require some tweaking: for example, the Wisp ignition should be more manageable for damage output each turn 2:27 . The legendary reaction should allow for a save or take half, or at least an attack roll. 2:45

  5. A PDF sounds great. I usually find that anything outputted from ChatGPT does require a bit of editing to make it useful. Though it did give me stat blocks for an undead leader called a Shadow Commander, and a 5e version of an obsolete undead from earlier editions, the Bonegouge Assassin. I ran the encounter with this monsters as written and it was both great fun and a reasonable challenge for my party.

  6. I would like a home brew pdf with all the monsters 😇👍I think for me that’s a great starting point. I made content for my games that were created by AI already. I hade to expand on every project, but the AI was like a friend helping me getting over that first bump that is a blank piece of paper. Thank you ChatGPT 😘🤖
