This game is just alright imo, feels heavily inspired by DS2, I guess they thought they could do a better job, and they did imo, but they also took some of the stupid bs from DS2 and doubled down on it, which was a pretty stupid decision imo. Got this on PS5 and honestly it’s not worth the $70 with the constant frame rate drops (playing on performance mode). I’d suggest buying this when it goes on sale if they don’t fix the performance issues.
At this point, I enjoy his reaction takes more than his gaming videos, even if I disagree with his takes at times. His refusal to actually pay attention to mechanics and stubborn approach to these kinda games makes it hard to watch. He'd probably be easier to watch if he played games that he probably will never play, e.g. Baldur's Gate 3.
The lock on system is F’ed
The game is disgustingly difficult in all the wrong ways. Gank squads, cracked out ai that attack the instant they see you no hesitation, never struggled so hard and I’ve beaten every soulsborne several times, the basic enemies are harder than the bosses

i wish it was elden ring again. i completed it kinda same time as you but i can't get this game because just dosent feel like it's any better than eldenring. I hope you do a elden ring dlc vid when it comes out. But i'll still watch this and see if it's any good. Thanks
Asmon is in for a rude awakening when he gets to the fen and has to fight the head boss that requires you to use the lantern to even beat it
i look at his face while he is playing the game and realize that i don't want to play a game that causes such emotions, irritation, disappointment, frustration and wanting to delete the game instead of wanting to play the game more
Soulslike community is very toxic and therefore games are made very toxic for them.
In my opinion, if you play a good game again, when it ends, you are sad that it is over, because you want to have play it more.
And this game is such that you mostly ask yourself a philosophical question… "Why am I playing the game at all? to have some fun? Then it's clearly not this game"
this game is made by fans of ds2, easy not interesting boses, BUT 1000 enemies on a small areas, game punish you for the try to play the game, I hate the game with all my heart, this game was one of those which are easy to quit like ds2. zero fun, zero positive emotions. Best game for DS2 community

I thought I liked souls like games but after playing ds1 2 3 and elden ring I didn’t really care for elden ring or dark souls 2 or 3 that much. I only really like dark souls 1 because it just feels different from the rest of any souls game to me. Souls like games just look boring to me
