  1. Nice!! I think this Arc is a straight up 10/10. My favorite part and I think objectively best of Star Wars. Visuals, soundtrack, characters, plot, development, pacing, ending, action, etc etc… Perfect.

Anyway, if you want more, definitely check the other animated shows!!
You still got (in release order):
    Rebels
Resistance (this is the only one I don't recommend, plus, it takes place around the sequel trilogy, so you may want to watch those movies first if you actually watch this)
    The Bad Batch
    Tales of the Jedi

You can really watch Rebels, Bad Batch or Tales in pretty much any order you want. The release order is above. The chronological order is Tales (Dooku eps) -> The Bad Batch/Tales (Ahsoka eps) -> Rebels -> Resistance

After you're done with at least Rebels (though Bad Batch and Tales are short) you should definitely move on to The Mandalorian and THEN The Book of Boba Fett

Plus, you still got Solo, and the sequel trilogy to watch if you want.

Edit: The order I would recommend is pretty much the chronological one:
    Tales/Bad Batch
    Solo
    Rebels
    The Mandalorian
    The Book of Boba Fett

And then if you want, Resistance and the sequels.

  2. Rex crying over the thought of killing his brothers will always stay with me.

The entire final arc is masterful Star Wars. I'm so glad Filoni and the team got the chance to end the series on a perfect note. It would've been a crime to deprive us of Season 7

  4. 22:00 – This lightsaber duel between Maul and Ahsoka was made using Motion Capture. Rey Park who was the original body of Maul in Phantom Menace reprised his work here for this. Ahsoka was mo-capped by a very talented person as well.
44:00 – Powerful ending, wasn't it. Ahsoka dropped that lightsaber there, just in case it would be found. It would lead "Anakin" (whom she felt turn to the Dark Side) to believe she was dead, so that she could live in hiding.

Don't forget, The Bad Batch series picks up at the end of this series.

  5. This show is amazing and these 4 episodes were nothing but spectacular, stellar storytelling, animation and music. These final 4 would make a hell of a movie, imagine getting that in the theater! Great reaction, I can only imagine your reaction to Ahsoka leaving Anakin and Fives dying…

  6. The fight between Maul and Ahsoka was motion captured. They brought back the original martial artist that played Maul in A Phantom Menace, Ray Park. Search for "Ray Park mocap Clone Wars" and you will see how it was done, amazing, no wonder the fight was so good! EDIT: Caution, just watched the behind the scenes again, don't watch it now, there are spoilers to Rebels there, I've forgotten!

  7. I love your videos and respect you so much as a person and love seeing you react to this heartfelt world and story… but look deeper into darth maul’s character please because I feel like your misjudging him 🥺 I used to feel the same but after Anakins process I started to analyze a “villian” better and not look at appearances only .. darth maul.. has so much more to his story and he was also used.. the sith and darth sidious just uses to his advantage and robbed maul of his life and turned him into what we saw but its all he knows unfortunately and wants to survive in this arc of the story because he knows his old master well…

  8. Why only the season 7 finale?
Okay, I'll refer to season 5 and a few other events.
Ahsoka first. You can see that she is afraid, but not for herself, but for Anakin.
Tano decides to join Maul. She decides to betray the Jedi because she considers them the evil ones. Most likely to betray Bo too.

Ahsoka is like Barriss. The only difference here is that Ahsoka couldn't break with the past and Barriss could.
The only thing stopping her is that Maul wants to kill Anakin. This is the only person who prevented her from breaking with the past. It's her older brother, it's impossible for him to become real evil.
After Order 66, Ahsoka was done with the Jedi. She leaves her past behind (the lightsaber Anakin gave her)

Personally, I consider Barriss one of the best characters. She was supposed to get her own arks for herself but she didn't get them and information about her is in the books.
here are my notes on Barriss and Luminara

    A few words about Maul
He wants revenge, but he is terrified. Palpatine killed his brother his mother and abandoned him.
I don't know why you think Maul deserves to die. He's the only one trying to stop Palpatine. He's doing what Jedi are supposed to do.
His plan was simple: kill Anakin and take what Palpatine wants. He want Tano to join him because she's his opponent's apprentice, which would give him a huge advantage. Ultimately, Maul loses the duel with his arrogance. He didn't consider Tano a good opponent and lost.
If he had learned from his mistakes, Tano would either join him or die.

Ahsoka's death = Anakin wants revenge = Maul would have had his chance.

As for the concept of evil. There are no bad people here. Even Dooku, despite being the leader of the Separatists, has good goals. He wants to dissolve the Republic so that each planet can decide its own fate, and he wants the Jedi Order to be independent of politicians. The real and only evil is Palpatine.

The ending of Ventress's story is in the Dark Disciple book
there are also fan voice versions on YT

Now I recommend watching Tales of the Jedi

  10. In case you didn't know already:
Disney took over Star Wars in 2013 (I think) and cancelled this show after its 5th season. The show's creators were able to release the remaining episodes, which they had already finished, on Netflix, so these episodes became CW season 6. That's also the reason why season 6 only has 13 episodes and not 20 or more, because they were cancelled mid-production. Dave and his team finished 12 out of the (about) 52 unfinished Clone Wars episodes in season 7, but there still exist (around) 40 unfinished episodes aka 10 unfinished CW arcs to this day. The scripts of the 40 still unfinished episodes were already finished, as far as I know. You can look up these stories which we still could have gotten before the finale of season 7. I really hope that they will finish more of or all of the 10 arcs/ 40 unfinished CW episodes and release them on screen, one day. We would have seen on screen what happened with Maul and Sidious, Mother Talzin and with Ventress after the season 5 finale, for example, not "just" in comic or book form. We would have also seen more of the affects that Ahsoka leaving had on Anakin and even a very short encounter/ fight between Sidious and Ahsoka. We also would have seen the beginning of the creation of the 1st Death Star on the planet Utapau and an arc about a very interesting and powerful alien race called YUUZHAN VONG from the unknown regions, and they were really important and a huge threat to Luke and his people in the Legends Star Wars extended universe later on. There was also supposed to be an episode that showcased why the Jedi were clouded by the dark side. Apparently the Jedi temple was built on top of a Sith temple, and Palpatine would go down there to practice Sith sorcery.
There was also supposed to be an arc about Cad Bane vs. kid Boba Fett and his crew.

  11. Anakin's descent into darkness was well portrayed.

Because some Jedi never completely loved him, didn't respect him, didn't trust him, didn't take him seriously and even despised him.

As a child before Obi-Wan started teaching him, he was hated and psychologically bullied by other children "Anakin is a slave to his feelings" and that was only because of envy because he was much more gifted and skilled than them.

May the force be with you.
And may you lead the force. 🖐️

  12. When judging Windu's comments to Ahsoka you have to look at things from his perspective. He doesn't know her very well, and mostly as Anakin's apprentice… Anakin, who he is having serious doubts about. But more to the point Windu has seen this before, where a Jedi leaves the Order for good and understandable reasons, goes silent for a while, and then returns as a secret Sith. Windu was unwilling to believe Dooku could have changed so much until he saw it for himself. Having been burned like that, he probably is unwilling to make the same mistake with Ahsoka. He flat out doesn't trust her.

  13. 9:13 Once the music kicks in, it's supposed to be a parallel to the opening of Revenge of the Sith. The moment she begins falling towards Mandalore, it's the same time that Obi-Wan and Anakin have begun their rescue mission over Coruscant to rescue Palpatine in the epic space battle intro.
