  1. Why don't you believe it Shawn..this has been Nebraska for the better part of 15-20 years. The QB play has been horrific (Sims, Martinez (2X), Armstrong) for a long time and Nebraska as a team has sucked in turnover ratio all that time. NU is 2-0 is not for these horrible blunders. The telecast showed Sims leads the nation for his career in turnovers at one point was 36 they announced I believe after the first one so now it is probably 40. Unbelievable how this guy is still taking snaps!!!!!!! He is KILLING this team and the chance to go to a bowl this year. How can NU be this bad at getting QB's????? We are absolutely the worst offensive team in the country. Even the 2009 season on offense wasn't this bad.

  2. I agree on your thoughts that mid 2Q, it looked like your Nubs could take control of the game, but your D line ran out of gas, very evident in the 2nd half. Once Sanders had time to throw, it was over.

  3. Osborne ran the option because it evened the playing field with inferior skilled players. Plus other teams only had a weak to prepare for it. We should at least adopt the Ravens’ offense. Bring back the option. That’s Husker football.

  4. Put Haarberg in. At this point what do you have to loose? You're a first year coach trying to figure stuff out. Maybe its a colossal failure, but it can't get any worse considering we have one turnover per quarter of play. Husker fans don't really have patience with coach/qb nepotism at this point.

  5. The disrespect stuff is such bull, or mostly bull. Sanders The Younger knows that is true, given how he dodged and was not specific at all….he was TRYING to make some controversy, like his daddy. I like the Younger Sanders enough and he looks good so far, but….he needs to just play.

  6. Guys to stop out losing rut we need to take an unconventional route. The only way I see this changing is this is hiring Meyer or someone that does not fall into the norm or current boring coaching culture. I know Nebraska want to keep up with good family men culture coaches but this is too much now, we need a change and a change fast.

  7. As i have said for years now….about 15 years now to be exact….until we switch our system in nebraska over to a pass first or pass heavy offense to join the 2020's college football offenses that actually win(cause u cant win in this day in age of college football if u cant pass, and we cant)….so until we stop trying to run our prehistoric run heavy/option bullshit offense from 1990's(funny the last time our huskers were relevant) we will just continue to be a bad team….oh and let me add in rhule is not the answer cause he is mess as a coach….aka bad coach…..his play calls and decisions cost us in week 1,and this past week sticking with a trash qb after 4 turnovers is just dumb coaching….rhule has to go just as i said frosty the clown had to go 3-4 games into his 1st season…..unfortunately frost was here like 4 more years zzzzzzz…….this season is already over like the last 24 seasons so we need a reset and recruit/or get a qb who can throw from the portal…..if they dont get a THROWING QB in the off season u looking at next season being 26th in a row of garbage….its amazing to me that they keep trying the same crap run heavy option qb run offense year in and year out and same result thinking it will be different…thats the definition of insanity!!….unfortunately fellow husker fans got their heads in their asses and get mad at me and rip me for trolling and talking shit…..im just a passionate huskers fan who hates what he sees and sees they not getting better…..i dont live in denial like most of ya…..wake up!!

  8. If haarberg has a talent ceiling of a 7 and sims is a 9 but haarberg has a floor of 5 and sims is 2….. You go with haarberg.

You deal with the highs not being as high for the lows to not be as low.

  9. Bench Sims! If Sanders can win his first two games Nebraska is doing something wrong to have no chance to win our first two games. It’s Sims. He’s probably a really good dude, but turnovers don’t seem to be on the decline, especially when it’s the same mistake in both losses.

  10. The days of Tom Osborne are done, as an organization the Nebraska, it was a game of inches, Football bounces funny always.
The Husker faithful probably are expecting too much, Colorado has been fortunate yes, but it helps to have players

  11. There are SEC teams that will open their bottomless checkbooks to sign Sanders. Once his son is gone (likely at the end of this year) he will be gone as well and CU will quickly revert to where they were before…

  12. As a single digit holder, Sims should hold himself accountable and either bench himself or turn his number back in until he gets things right. Sims is not aligning with Rhules' quote

"So, what we decided was, you know what, 1 through 9 and now 0 through 9 would go to the nine or now 10 toughest guys on the team. And when I say 'toughest,' we define that for the guys, but really, the guys who best exemplify what it means to be a Cornhusker, to be accountable, to be dependable, to be tough, hardworking, competitive every single day. And so, as we get into training camp … the players will vote on it, and we hope it kind of becomes our tradition

  13. Dear Nebraska fans. 50% of the teams that played on Sat also loss. Only Nebraska fans are wanting to blame one coach, one player and so on. When you play a very good team scit like this happens. You have a good team but don't support them or don't even know it. If they had support instead of having to read that every Nebraska fan is trashing their teammates, or them, then they wud likely get better and better. Your team is human. They are a great team and will clean up their mistakes. That's a good Coach and QB you have. They played only 2 games. What QB or Coach you going to get that wud come to Nebraska with HuskerOnline vids and these kind of Fans? Give your team a break already. I played HS and College sports. For sure this fan base pressure and stress was 99% why you saw those 2 losses.

  14. I live on the West Coast. Every single quarterback in the pac 12 is better then Nebraska's how is that possible. That nuts. Enormous failure by Nebraska's coaching staff. Good teams win the turnover battle. One of the defining things in a football game

  15. Deion will leave CU as soon as his boys accomplish what they came to a power 5 school to do. His intentions are to put the spotlight on his boys. They weren’t receiving that at a HBCU. Deion will use his personal health as a reason to step down.

  16. Does anybody know precisely what Sanders was referring to in terms of Matt Rhule being disrespectful? I've heard some anecdotal statements but not what was specifically interpreted as disrespectful… does anybody have a link or a video that might encapsulate what was viewed in this fashion?

  17. I don't believe we were wore down, I mean Luke Reimer said as much. I was mistakes in covereage, communication issues and such. I mean, they put Tommie Hill in and he lets a Colorado receiver get beind him, that is why Tommie doesn't start.

  18. I'm just so freaking sick of losing to teams we shouldn't EVER lose to…I was hoping this season might be the year where hard work and dedication paid off but lady luck seems to have forgotten our address or some crap.
I just want to win and beat the teams we should beat and give those that are way better than us a hell of a beating and make them remember us 2 weeks later when they are still sore from it.
I just want to have something to look forward to, a bowl game and NOT GETTING EMBARRASSED ON NATIONAL TV !
Even a tiny slice of normalcy around here would be great at this point. I most of all want a staff that DOES WHAT IT SAYS….LIKE USING THE FULLBACK AND RUNNING THE DAMNED BALL….RUNNING BACKS AND QUARTERBACKS THAT CAN HANG ON TO THE FOOTBALL….I DUNNO BUT IS THIS TOO MUCH TO EXPECT OR ASK FOR ??????????

  19. Maybe this is a horrible take, but hear me out. These next two games should be wins regardless of who's at quarterback (hopefully). The next game is a guaranteed loss regardless of who's at quarterback. Why not continue to run Simms for the next three games to see if he can shake this or get his act together somehow? Then if things aren't looking fixed by Illinois you switch him out. It seems like this strategy doesn't cost us anything, It makes sure that we are making the right decision with respect to Simms, and it protects the eventual starter that we need to carry us across the finish line from injury over some otherwise meaningless games.

  20. Just play the local kids on offense. Qb wide receiver tide end. They care more. Kemp out there poking the bear before the game when he had no catches week before and the bear he poked had 510 yard passing the week before.

  21. These two weeks give the local kid the reps and build confidence. Hes no freakin baby. And if he was a baby there are plenty of baby making plays. Let the locals run shit. New york husker fan since 83. Love the huskers more than the yankees knicks and giants. I just want to see them compete and not false start on the edge of success. I get where screwed. Just venting on a vent platform.

  23. If you had the chance right now to trade Dion for Matt as head coach would you take that as a husker? I have no way to defend Rhule yet, but apples to apple I do not know how you take that trade. In for the long haul as a husker but right now I'm ready to get hurt again. For reference I'm 26 and its been painful.
