It's a boat they get wet the motor is not flooded pull it out give her a rewire and pump the fuel tank and she's good to go especially if it's a newer boat that's wood free
have been watching your videos for a good while. What amazes me is how one person can salvage a boat the way you do. Obviously it take years to learn how to do this and of course having the right equipment
Yeah man, I feel your enthusiasm as you talk about having to get, "In there"…… lol, some days are like this, huh? This "Gent" has not seen the Quint 450Racing motors running out the Miami River outlet….. some fast boats but every time I've lived around the coast there's always this "dark group" of insurance scam types who are doing all sorts of stuff. I've been offered engines & stuff from these type of deals but I always said, "No thank you" ! It'd be my luck in buying a motor cheap that it would be stolen & I'd lose my motor & my money too. Did you say there were 2,200 boats damaged & waiting for work now? And the server went down? Wow wee, lots of business. Nasty business & I hope you have the same positive outlook for all of them. peace
Ken, do you ever make excuses not to get in slimy water? Tell your customer you have an open cut and you don't want to get an infection. That water looked stinky and rank 😮
Bill is obviously from New York, I would guess Long Island. He is just like one of my best friends from there. That constant banter is fun for a while but it soon gets old and you learn to tune it out.
That boat might be a surprise; all the important electrical stuff was above the waterline; it could be with a good wash and some new cushions, it's back to useable condition. It doesn't appear it was holed or anything.
"The Bilge Pump Works" 😂 Also, he didn't want to tell you how to do your job and then proceeded to tell you how to do your job. So funny and you're so patient. Another great job Ken.

You should make Bil your regular sidekick.

Are there alligators you have to watch for?
As the old saying goes $100 and hour….$200 if you help $250 to watch me work !!!😅😅😅😅😅
Bill to Neighbor, "Thanks for your Help"! , Neighbor," I Didn't do Anything"! Lol!
Bill is the kind of man who seems to be one I would enjoy sipping coffee or sweet tea with in the afternoon.

You keep getting better Ken. Nice job on video too.
Did you get to salvage it again after Milton?

ANOTHER excellent episode Cap'n. Your Sunday posts make my week!
Why would this get salvaged? Is it the cost of cleanup or can there be other damage like wiring that exceeds the cost of the boat?
See buddy I'm not the only one who thinks you have a cool job. Lol
Bill is 85!? He's doin good!
Yeah, that guy is a character… Good man though…nice boat as well …long day w that guy ….

I DONT THINK YOU WOULD HAVE GOT THAT OUT WITHOUT THAT OLD GUY TELLING YOU WHAT TO DO! LOL
Listening to your buddy when he showed up he sounded like Rodney Dangerfield. I was waiting for, "I don't get no respect".
Love the people who stop by to tell you how to do your job that you've done for years.
Bill was killing me
