This is a video that describes the experience of returning back to our residence 10 days after Hurricane Ian came through Sanibel Island, FL on September 27th, 2022. Overall observation were: Sanibel: No water, no electricity, no people, hardly any cars Yard: Numerous trees down Home (Downstairs): 6′ water damaged 100% of our belongings Home (Upstairs): No physical damage but extremely moldy smell, obvious signs of mold growing already and humidity, lack of rain, and not being able to place your belongings anywhere in a safe or get them off Sanibel for another three weeks are additional factors that we will probably lose at least 50% of the upstairs.
