Hurricane Beryl smashes across Jamaica



Hurricane Beryl struck a blow to Jamaica as a massive, category 4 storm, causing a dangerous storm surge, bending power lines and knocking out electricity. At least seven people have been reported killed across the Caribbean this week from the hurricane. NBC Newsโ€™ Sam Brock reports from Jamaica.

  2. All I know is in Heaven this don't happen. The prevailing mindset there is positive and down here is negative. The like, attracts the like the saying goes. Hope Jamaicans get support and relief soon.

  3. we only started using the categories since the early 1970s. all the media screaming how its the earliest cat 4 is not being honest and trying to scare people. We had storms this size and this early long before the 70s and certainly long before man was even being affected by them.
