An alright song, it's better than some that are on this album so far.
Educated fool the next one, is the fucking best ! Thx hurmit for your real react ! 😉
Definitely a great song. Sounds like Maiden. Blaze really challenging his range at the very end and sounding good. Lighting Strikes Twice and this are my 2 favorites and the rest of the album is good in my opinion.
Amazing song in my opinion, and Blaze sounds great yet again
Yeah another great song from this very solid album, next The Educated Fool, I'm not sure about this one but it's ok. I would hope after listening to this that when you listen to X Factor again you might appreciate it a bit more, anyway I know were not quite there yet but I can't wait to see what you make of the reunion album "Brave New World" I will say this though it sounds killer after listening to Virtual XL.
I had forgotten this song even existed. Honestly, I think Blaze's solo stuff is better than this watered down Maiden sound. Solos are pretty bad on this album imo.
Lightning Strike Twice, Educated Fools and this are my favorite.
A really cool song, mid tier on the album for me. The next song The Educated Fool is actually one of my favorite Maiden songs.
I like the prog part during the vocal break before the solos and after the first guitar line. It sounds cool. Wish they would have came back to it.
The rest of the song is nothing special for me but at least it’s not cringe inducing.
Temonnnnn up the Irons from Chile
I saw Blaze Bayley live in concert in 2013 at a small St. Paul bar in Minnesota… he did play 'When two worlds collide' along w/ 'Futureal'… 'The Clansman'… 'Man on the edge'… 'Look for the truth'… 'Lord of the Flies'… and some of his solo songs… Sadly, only 20 people were there to see the show, but he did the full set at 100% 🔥🔥
He met w/ everyone after the show and signed autographs – a real cool bloke! 🤘🤘
This is a good song, really worked live (it was played much faster) and it's one of my favorites from V11
This has always been my favourite song from the album.
My fav in the album and it s cool to move to the end of the era. Still think thoso solos are weak.
I have a soft spot for this song, might be the nerdiest Maiden song “there are no errors in the CALCULATIONS”, love it
This is a good song and with a good idea, but for me it dragged more than it should have been.
The Clansman for me kicks the butt of any other track on both Blaze albums.
Educated Fool was my fav off this album for quite some time. Prefer Lightning Strikes twice more now days but yeah, next song is pretty good and think you’ll like it.
OK doesn't quite belong here, but there are a few songs by Blaze, meaning his band, that aren't bad at all. I just want to name one song here. I think you like it, it's a little more punchy. "Robot" is a short (3 minutes) song that I always enjoy listening to. Nice and fast played with the right pressure behind it.
Very underrated song. It has a great melodies that makes you dream plus some sweet vocals.
I think the biggest issue with this album is Nicko does sweet fa on the drums, he normally does killer fills but it's almost like a basic pattern on a drum machine looping over & over, very bland
I had forgotten how good this song is. Thanks for reviving me this feeling with your video reaction. 🤘🏼
An ok song, I don’t rate it that highly. Blaze’s limited vocal range is noticeable especially at the end of the chorus. And at the risk of sounding repetitive but…like many songs in this era, well, it’s repetitive.
Man Blazes range is nonexistent. The drums are boring and Janicks solo sucked. The song is awkward. The riff is good but it can’t save the song.
After you finish this album, you could react to "Sign of the Cross" and "The Clansman", both live with Bruce Dickinson in Rock in Rio 2001.
I can't wait for brave new world album. The educated fools next!
Really enjoying reliving this album with you, Hurm! It definitely has some very good songs true to the spirit of Maiden.
The ending drags out a little but I really like this song.
Virtual is fucking great album
Hi, Hurm1t. Can I recommend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xw2mbwsAZA , which is Blaze's next band doing this song live?
(I was there. Cracking gig.)
I saw Maiden play with Blaze twice. Both were killer shows. This is a good song, I have to admit.
Jan Gers second solo
