Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall;
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty together again.
Humpty Dumpty lay on the ground,
Broken pieces all around.
The king’s men tried, they worked all day,
But Humpty’s pieces wouldn’t stay.
Along came a friend with a bright idea,
“Don’t worry, Humpty, I’m here to cheer!”
With tape and glue, they worked with care,
Soon Humpty was fixed, as good as a pair.
Now Humpty Dumpty stands so tall,
But he doesn’t climb back on the wall.
He plays on the ground with friends so true,
Happy and safe, just like brand new!
