Curbing or ending the problems caused by pollution is one thing and well advised by many. The world is not dying: Humans are arrogant to believe we could destroy this planet. We are only harming ourselves. Earth will always survive, rejuninate and carry on. The arrogance of humans wanting to find other planets to inhabit is also wrong. If we cannot do right with our own Earth, we have no right to take over another planet and it's occupants. We are all ignorant to the brainwashing in consumerism. We need to learn the difference of wants and needs and learn to live with what we need. The rest is waste, no matter how you look at it. Technology is the same as money: the root to evil within ourselves.

it would've been a nice documentary if there weren't so many mistakes…like humans are descendant of primates, or primitive humans lived ten thousand years ago ..etc etc enough with stupidities, Darwin's evolution theory has already been proved to be wrong too many times, plus there were about 4 other ancient and pre ancient civilizations preceding ours..
OK The narrator of this tale is the General Artificial Intelligence Elon Musk among others are warning us about. There are also many more threats to humanities longterm existence than Climate Change and General Artificial Intelligence. But those two are sufficient, so let's ignore our love of war and nuclear arsenals, or the unsustainable methods of huge corporate monoculture farming and how it decimates the soil. Just to give honorable mention to two more terrors not usually mentioned.
Climate Change, may I say clearly, does not endanger the Earth. Our planet endured being born as a hot molten ball, the Heavy Bombardment, The Boring Billion, and the meteor that killed the Dinosaurs just to name a few catastrophes. And still managed to produce Humanity. What Climate Change endangers is the relatively fragile Environment upon which we have built our current Civilization. Our coastal areas are disappearing and that's where 80% of our population lives. So, now we have immigration problems because we must relocate those people. And it's only going to get worse.
The places where it was easiest to grow food are changing. Mainly moving north with the cooler weather. But infrastructure and National Boundaries aren't as quick to move. So shortages and wars for Resources break out increasing those problems along with immigration. And that's only going to get worse.
I think you see the pattern. Unless you're a hard core Climate Denier. They will never admit all these problems are connected.
But this video has the GAI taking one look at all this and deciding to eliminate human civilization and giving us a chance to start over.
I do hope it doesn't take such a drastic measure. Perhaps enough of us can awaken from our Advertising induced coma. Stop sleepwalking through life to the beat of the Major Corporations and their owners. And make some healthy choices for our as yet unborn great grandchildren. All the technology and knowledge necessary is already in our hands. We need to choose to make the changes and use it.
