Human astronauts cross a lifeless, barren Martian landscape when they suddenly discover an alien statue, hidden in the mountain range with unexpected life growing in the direct vicinity… kick starting… life on Mars.

This is great! May I make one comment, however? I kind of wish the two human astronauts looked a little more like the "traditional" astronauts we're familiar with. The colors and especially the shape of the helmets makes them look a bit alien as well. Again, fantastic job! 👍🏻

The diorama looks really good. It's just a lot of red tones throughout. The statue really pops out as the focal point. The astronauts blend in to the base. Not sure if that was an accident or planned. Great concept and work on it.
Love your use of color shift paints, it gives the statue an otherworldly feel. Really respect your restraint with the plants, Id have over done it, the purple, blue into the mystic gold just looks cool.

I really like your theme and your idea of the Cosmonauts coming across this "Art-deco" style monolith, you did a bang-up job on painting it mate, the added alien foliage was a noice touch! Do you think you could have achieved the desired mirror finish on the helmets with a few clear coats, or wouldn't that work on the chrome paint?

Ahh should have used the gold hypershift on the astronaust helmet visors..
That color shift paint worked out really well. Especially with the metallic dry brush, it gives such a nice subtle hue without being overpowering.
