This series is intended to give a solid foundation to the study of one of the most engaging, perplexing, and genuinely mysterious topics of our time — UFOs, now referred to as UAP — Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. Mr. Dolan, there is a collection of evidence showing a cyclical pattern or hemisperical upheavels and global catastrophies. The main progenerators of these events being due to our own Sun as well as exogenic impacts from extraterrestial objects. There is much correlation from all realms of study, the chances of a major event on Earth before or within the 2040's (mainly from our Sun) is highly probable. I believe it to be a Key motivator. If we can see whats coming with the evidence and data we have available, then they must be aware of any impending event much further ahead of time. Some sort of a Secret Space Program type thing seems like it would mankinds greatest success and likely his best method of survival.

He's spot on (conservatively) with his estimate of the total UFO sightings per year.
Consider this. If ufo's are really ET craft from other civilizations, this means alien life is common or widespread enough to be able to travel to Earth.
If alien life is spread enough to accomplish this, it means they ought to have several planetary colonies (and orbital habitats if they are Type 3 civilizations, with dyson swarms etc).
This could be anything from 100 colonies, for a "small" upstart civilization, to millions of colonies for an older civilization.
On Earth we have 8 billion people, but our planet could actually support TRILLIONS of people (with the same levels of technological comforts, with each person having several square kilometers of empty park space, contrary to popular belief). The only reason our planet cannot support that today, is because we need to use fossil fuels polluting the atmosphere, and because we dont do vertical agriculture (which becomes extremely cost effective once energy costs approach zero, without fossil fuels).
Now, if you have 10 thousand planets in your civilization, with billions of "people" (or ai's, who knows) on each planet…
And if they are that widespread, if they have reached Earth AT ALL, it means they discovered SOME amazing energy generation, at the very least anti-matter reactors (and a truly large scale method of manufacturing or harvesting anti-matter).
This means energy, and thus manufacturing, isnt prohibitively expensive.
If you're spacefaring, you're also capable of asteroid mining. There are more resources in Near Earth Orbit, than ALL accessible surface deposits on our entire planet. Period.
So, these civilizations, IF they have reached Earth, so IF ufo's are really aliens, they by definition have next to "free" (in monetary terms) energy generation AND raw materials for manufacturing.
Now imagine 10 thousand planets, each with 10 billion "people", each person having their own affordable interstellar spaceship (since manufacturing, raw materials and energy approaches zero cost, especially with automation).
The numbers of "space travellers" that even one such civilization has, is beyond calculable.
Even if only 1% of them had ANY interest in Earth what so ever, that means there would be millions and millions of them, visiting Earth..
Millions. Not a couple of thousand.
Now multiply that number by how many such civilizations actually exist, or if they have far more industrial capacity than that (as zero-g space factories and habitats are far more efficent than planet based industry).
This is also why we could NEVER EVER survive ANY conflict with ANY such civilization. Period.
No matter what Independence Day says. No matter what jingoist military-industrial complexes say.
Because even if we had 1:1 technological parity with these civilizations, meaning we had the SAME technology.
They would still have, potentially, millions of times higher industrial output per unit time, than Earth has as a whole.
You might be able to win a fight 1:1 against a single craft.
But you can't win a war of 100 (to say we have 100 reverse-engineered craft is quite a stretch, but still) versus 10 million…
The point?
1. Richard Dolans estimates are extraordinarily conservative, and he did this on purpose, to avoid having to go through the whole reasoning above.
2. The only survivable option for us, is peaceful diplomacy and cooperation.
And i stress this, NO MATTER what their agendas are….
This is what nobody wants to think about, or accept. Even if, which i dont think, but even if, they had truly horrific agendas for Earth.. We would simply have no choice but to submit, accept, and beg to be at least left as a subject colony under their rule.
Even if the worst possible sci-fi tropes would be true, that they're abducting people and conducting experiments and so forth. It's not a winnable war. The only survivable option, is to come to some sort of agreement.
Horrible to say? Yes.
Realistic? Yes.
Now, i personally believe the vast majority of them ARE benign, or at least neutral. Not actively malicious in intent.
But i'm just stating a fact for the most extreme possibilities. A fact nobody wants to recognize, because we're so used to being the apex predator.
And this is why it is SO important, to NOT fall into the fearmongering jingoist trap of "us versus them" mentality that the military-industrial-intelligence complex is often trying to push, with spooky music and threat narratives.
Because it is simply not surviveable, even if true.
Every single time you hear a report of human aircraft opening fire against ufo's, you're rolling the dice that they'll retain a Ghandian-level of passivity and NOT retaliate, at all our perils. And lets make this clear, EVERY credible report of "combat" with UFO's, casually mentions in passing subtle paragraphs, that it was the humans that opened fire first (or attempted to intercept).
The only survivable option, is to seek peace and diplomacy.

Watching the limitations Dolan puts on ET, and history? Opinions about a subject unspeakable. Science only 300 years old? Ancient history, all hunter gatherers? Only recently, ET, became interested? Alot of unsubstantiated, debatable non facts. the megalithis, age, employed science and technology so advanced we can't determine its nature to this very day! Laser precision instruments, run by electrical, hydraulics, titanium diamond tip tech, cadcam, engineering. Its all there for you to see! Not the tools, but, the produce! Its phenomenal. It cannot be reproduced, like alien tech, back engineering, all chaos, no explanation why egyptians, applied, A level of tolerances, to a gravestone, that modern, science, Romans 300 years of science!, can only apply to brain surgery instruments. Everything down to the last molecule, atome, just precise as is possible. For a tomb, lol 5-10 thousand, likely more like 100 thousands of years ago. Lets imagine the scene! Levitation engineers, designers computers lasers etc working…who at the grip? Big headed slaves? Paracans? ET? Africans? Really, who had the power? Tools, industry, where is its ruins? All we got is the monument? Nothing else, it screams, High Tech!! Magic!! Who put it together, and why? Its easy to look at our act today and get it, wtf? Was going on during ancient history ? Neanderthals with the ability to produce, impossible buildings, objects, no tools, math, science, uninteresting these folks, total bore!!! According to dolan, their magic not worth ET checking out, but our current schitt, oh its more interesting. Well if ET feels threatened all of a sudden by monkies, the ones levitating thousand tonne, obelisks, are far greater fear, than we who indulge nfl, and rap music.
