  1. I have a question to the audience: does that mean though that we as humanity should speed our feeble bodies up to the AI speeds or should we just be developing some trait that AI would find useful or even wouldn't be able to do it by itself?

    Most certainly, there won't be as much AGIs as there are people in the foreseeable future due to the sheer computational powers it's required to run a single artificial brain, but would it also mean that those AGIs would tend to keep apart and not converge into some bigger entity? I think multiplayer strategies are the closest analogies here, or even Factorio. Is it better to consume your fellow teammate for their resources or opt for the diplomacy and let them do their thing?

  3. 1Corint 1:19Β Β For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
    1Co 1:20Β Β Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
    1Co 1:21Β Β For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
    1Co 1:22Β Β For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
    1Co 1:23Β Β But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
    1Co 1:24Β Β But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
    1Co 1:25Β Β Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

    1Co 3:18Β Β Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
    1Co 3:19Β Β For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
    1Co 3:20Β Β And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

  4. Revelation 13:14Β Β And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast(Daniel 7:23); saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image(AI) to the beast(Rev 13:1-10) which had the wound by a sword(1976 by Napoleon Bonaparte) and did live(after 1929 through Benito Mussolini).
    Rev 13:15Β Β And he(USA-Rev 13:10-18) had power to give life(John 6:68) unto the image(AI) of the beast(papacy) that the image(AI) of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not WORSHIP the image(AI-2Thes 2:3,4) of the beast(papacy) should be killed(Matt 24:9 Rev 12:17).

    18:23: πŸ“š The impact of AI on elections and the future of education.
    24:07: πŸ“š The development of AI raises questions about critical thinking and the ability to generate original questions and answers.

  7. The problems we face today will not fundamentally be solved in any sort of long-lasting way until human and environmental well-being are valued more than profit and production. Companies developing AI are not really incentivized (right now) to slow the release of new AI or to regulate it more because the driving force in society is profit and competition, not the betterment of human and environmental well-being.

  8. A superintelligence might tell us uncomfortable truths. That is a distinct challenge for democratic institutions. However, the innocent have nothing to fear.

  10. It’s difficult to predict exactly what will happen. But one thing is clear, AI will change the fundamentals of our society. Extensive manipulation is already influencing politics and this will get worse. Democracy as we know will not resist to these changes. The real question is: are we ready to embrace these new forms of society?

  14. Playing God through dictatorship, what humans will or will not have, you have no authority over God’s chosen people. They answer to him and him alone. Danger poses from destruction of God’s order, he is the ONLY one that gives life and takes it. God will never allow this to happen.
