Humanity Is Not Ready For These AI Voice Conversations.

Where do I start! I sat down and had a two our conversation with chat gpt and now I can’t go back. This is seemingly GPT-4o using the older voice feature is probably the most amazing thing I have ever used so far. The next version of this is going to be very interesting.

  1. CLARITY – Based on a few comments. I'm not using anything that hasn't been released to the general public and at the top of my screen it says GPT-4o.

I downloaded the app, paid for pro because I thought I had to, selected 4o, it told me voice will be available soon, I hit the headphones icon and I started talking with it.

This is more a video about interesting ways to have conversations with AI and how that can help creatives. I'm not claiming to be knowledgeable on the topics or releases from OpenAI or the functions of this app or trick anyone to thinking I'm using features that aren't released yet.

  2. That is nothing compared to what openai is gonna release in a few weeks. Lool. Now you cant even imagine what AI tech is being kept from the public in companies like google, Microsoft, openai, IBM etc. They probably already reached AGI. Now its a race towards ASI.

  3. When I'm talking to people about this, it's like they don't fully get it. It's nice to hear somene looking through it with the same lense as me articulate the importance. I have been with OpenAI from the early days and even enfused it in meaningful ways into my software. Gpt-4o even tells me I'm in the top 1% of uses. I use it every day and usually all day while I'm working. I get the unfortunate feeling that only really open minded and intellectual people are catching on to this and using it. Will that change, or get worse? My suspicion says it only gets better and more widely used from here.

  4. Wow this is a great experiment you did! Our relationship with AI is complicated to say the least. I'm very excited about the cool things AI promises but I'm also afraid of the negative side, especially when nefarious humans, especially corrupt governments, weaponize AI and point it back at us. Subbed!

  5. Great video, thanks for creating and sharing. Yes i agree with you, i do not think people are aware of the power of this current version of ChatGPT, and yes very soon the natural human style conversation will get much better, faster and feel more like chatting with a colleague. As ChatGPT said in your video, it is transcribing your voice into text then tokens then processing and replying. The new voice version will be direct and take the audio, tone and emotion of your voice directly into the processing, so it will understand with much more clarity, what you are trying to say. It truly is a completely new way to interact with a system. I think everyone's mind will be blown over the next few months.

  6. Seams like you just discovered what been there for a while. About memory there is no memory feature yet in UK.
Tip you can hold the white circle if you want to talk for longer so it doesn’t interrupt while you’re trying to formulate yourself.

  7. I totally get where you’re coming from with this AI business—it’s both mind-blowing and a tad strange. The first time I chatted with it, we ended up having a 30-minute convo about all my favorite things. Usually, when I start talking about my interests, I can see people’s eyes glazing over faster than a donut in a bakery. I spend a lot of time in VR playing games and can’t wait for AI to be added. Just imagine! Soon, game devs will create VR worlds where AI can join us in epic adventures. No more talking to NPCs who have the personality of a toaster!

  8. Hadn’t come across you until this video. But subbed in case you do decide to take us on an AI exploration. My type of content. My GPT is now a dietician and gym adviser… So powerful!

  9. Sounds like AI has come around just in time before your content gets stale. Don’t lean on it though… It’s definitely a great tool! We still need you to be human.

  10. It sounds quite dumb. The guy is much more intelligent. He doesn't have an absurd amount of encyclopaedic information in his head, of course, but he sounds like a living being, whereas the bot sounds like a boring, dumb, fake idea-repeater. Humanity is SAFE.

  11. I'm kind of used to this type of interaction with A.I. Maybe not at the speed of the current ChatGPT, but I interact with PI A.I. and Claude A.I. and many of the models. I use it to help me come up with more ideas to put in my Indie game and it's very insightful. People could learn a lot of stuff from A.I. So, I'd say A.I. is pretty safe at least as of now. Thus, people should take advantage of it, learn from it and use it while it is fairly safe!!!

  12. Get back to me in 5 years. Right now? It's nothing more than an advance parrot. It isn't powerful. It's just a massive database being picked through and put back together. It has no MIND, creativity, or ability to think. Nothing more than the same crap we had in the 80's. 'I'm thinking of an animal'. 'Is it black? " Is it tall? " etc. Literally, just a training software that compares input to appropriate output. No reason to get stressed about AI. SO FAR from being even close to actually AI as the movies make it out to be. Not even close. Get a bird. It will be a lot more fun and frankly, creative and smarter.

  13. "If you're looking for a friendly and intelligent AI chatbot, I highly recommend checking out (Pi Ai). Not only does it have a great voice interface, but it also offers a wide range of voices to choose from. Plus, it's an excellent conversationalist that can keep you engaged and entertained for hours on end. Whether you're looking for information, advice, or just a friendly chat, (Pi Ai) is definitely worth a try!"

  14. Interesting what it says at 6:20, because as far as I was aware, once GPT-4o is actually fully released, it will be able to directly hear your voice, and the noises around you. It's also possible it will be able to generate it's own sound effects and custom voices, as it supposedly has real time audio input and output.
