Steven, I had to go under the first time this year. Make sure that you have someone to stay with you and drive you back from the hospital. It's not like TV. They put a small needle in your hand, less pain than giving blood. You'll meet the anesthesiologist. The doctor will say hello, ask a few questions. You will then be asked to get in a position and the next thing you know, you are waking up from surgery. Don't be nervous if you have confidence in your doctors. If not, find new ones. Also, follow their instructions exactly. Try to schedule early in the morning. Contact me if you have any questions. Thanks again for the channel and all of the masks.
You will be looking up at lights then wake up in a different room seconds later and boom ie done recovery probably hardest part
General anesthesia is GREAT – get the fancy stuff that doesn’t give you a hang over. Best nap you will ever have man – no joke, incredible sleep

Had surgery to removed a mass by the saliva gland or it’s the gland anyway I’m still recovering Doc said is was the 2nd hardest he had to remove nerve got majorly stretched it messed with the left side of my face still waiting for that eye to blink…Steve you got this

The business of going 'under' with a general anesthesia is soooo easy. (Been there done that 2x) Making videos – like you do – would be scary for most of us!

Steven, I can understand your apprehension about being put under anesthesia but it's ok. I've had a few procedures with it. You will be fine and actually feel very cared for. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Shoot, no anti-religion… Anyway, I met you at the Plaza and you're no conman. I had a hip surgery not long ago and I told em I was nervous about being intubated and they were careful so when I woke up(seemed like minutes) I felt great and it was not as bad as I'd thought. You'll be fine and it's over quick. See ya my friend.

Time out. Heard enough horror stories of the doctor, facility, anesthesiologist, RN's all sending separate bills. Trust, but verify. Are you sure the price you were quoted is all inclusive.? PS. You'll be fine otherwise. Best sleep You'll have. Good luck on a speedy recovery.

No worries, I had many surgeries in my life, it's not a big thing, you are surrounded by professionals who do those anesthesia several times a day! Think of something beautiful and have a good sleep!

What recession? 4% unemployment, stock markets still above pre pandemic levels, interest rates are up which is near historic norms. I would love to know. If you are working 40hrs a week and not on a health insurance plan; perhaps another company is a better way to go.

Don't be afraid Steven. You will get a shot to calm you down. Then the Doctor will inject you by IV and by the time you count to 3 your out…lol! I hate going under but it is far better than being awake.
Praying for a successful surgery and recovery. I have used prayer (including singing a verse of my favorite hymn or song to myself), meditation, and guided imagery for pre-surgery anxiety.

My prayers are being offered for a quick recovery. Don't be apprehensive about being put under. You're asleep before you know it and when you wake up, it's like no time passed at all. My faith saw me through and it will for you too.

Think of your upcoming surgery and anesthesia like this: You're going on a roller coaster for the first time. You're scared to go on the ride (the fear of the unknown). Just close your eyes, and before you know it the ride's over and you're safely back on the ground. Being put to sleep is even better than closing your eyes on a coaster. You don't feel anything while the ride's going on. You wake up and it's over. Best of luck to you on your rehab of that arm. You'll be back in no time making quality videos like before. Those of us that have followed you for 4 years are pulling for you and your wife. You've taken us on quite a journey, and we keep coming back for more!
