This implies that the Puppet will be an entity and gameplay element, obviously.
HOWEVER, in this recent Q&A it instead implies that ONLY Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy will act as actual enemies, but….not the Puppet then? Was this simply changed mid development, poorly worded, or the Puppet will have a different role in the game?

The guy answering these questions clearly didn't notice what happened when Bioware's founders left the company, or when John Romero left ID Software. Cut out one or more key staff, and you'll never get what they brought to their games again.
I have an idea for the phone guy replacement. So, if we get to play as the Breaking + Entering protagonist at some point, an idea for the phone guy of that could perhaps be the ghost detector picking up on news broadcasting saying stuff lore relevant to the game. This could happen due to the ghost detector picking up on Chica's song, but that may just be a byproduct of the animatronics most likely being haunted.

I'm hyped for the AI and horror elements of this game, since that has always been my favourite element of the series. I'll definitely be getting this game on release.
Considering most of this document is talking itself up on how it’s better than the actual series with “lore” and “horror” the absence of a phone guy, arcade mini games, voice acting or even cutscenes makes it seem like it’s just a barebones run of the mill fan game

I wish they did the promo when the game was like 75% complete instead of giving us all of these teasers just for it to come out probs 2 years from now. I don’t want a rushed experience but damn dude. We get all these teasers making people think it’s close to release and then you tell us it’s nowhere near complete? That kinda sucks… Maybe do heavy promo when the game is actually near completion so fans aren’t waiting years???
