Never got what was so special with the first looked like a slight advancement of team fortress? Also Ill never understand this game's system requirements there not insane or anything but still too much for what you get I mean they couldn't even get the switch to 720p 60fps which just shows the lazyness

People are complaining that overwatch 2 was in development for four years and this is all they’ve done, which I agree with but I don’t think they were developing for the total four years.
regardless, i doubt OW2 will be a shitty game just one that the community is annoyed with because they expected more. Also, I don’t think introducing PVE justifies this long wait period, unless there’s something revolutionary about it, which i highly doubt. At least OW2 is free, but otherwise really doesn’t reward its old players for playing such a long time.

The list is pretty numerous on the balance changes alone without even counting the fresh gameplay with 5v5, new heroes, new maps, new game mode, new systems, improved audio, and new cosmetics. I dunno why people are somehow expecting more than that. Must not know how big game development is.

Overwatch 2 is literally just a shiny Paladins
Paladins had 5v5, talents and upgrades, free to play, no loot boxes anymore, you have to buy characters and skins (god forbide they put gems in the game) Sojourn looks like Lian, next thing you know they're gonna have a overrated and very popular blue wolf spirit girl who uses a crossbow and is a support hero.

Overwatch 2 is the PvE not the PvP. The PvP is obviously going to be similar to what the original game had to offer.
