How Will Classic Tracks Work for the New Mario Kart on Switch 2?

We’re really excited for a bigger Mario Kart experience with 24 racers on the Nintendo Switch 2, but we do wonder how this new game will handle classic tracks since they were originally designed for far less characters #nintendo #nintendoswitch2 #switch2 #mariokart

  1. That's definitely a valid concern. Maybe they'll pull a Smash Wii U and only have SOME tracks be 24-player compatible. OR have 24-player be a separate mode? 🤷‍♂️ I'm super excited to see more on April 2nd! 😃

  2. I have a feeling they might focus entirely on new tracks myself. Since Mario Kart 8 deluxe had almost all great tracks from the series, they might’ve decided for this game to be a revamp/fresh start

  3. The final stretch shot of the mk9 teaser was just a long road. I’m thinking 24 player tracks will be separate from 12 player tracks, cause having exclusively long straight tracks would be quite boring

  4. I wonder if they did the Booster Course DLC for MK8D so many of these beloved tracks can have one final modern release before they revamp how they play and feel due to the new features we have for this new game. 24 players and tracks that are designed to be much larger in scale means reimagining favorite tracks like DK Mountain or any of the Rainbow Roads. There’s a lot to look forward to here!
