They were fine with their government starting wars and killing thousands and destroying the lives of millions. Fuck them all. Also, where did you get the graph for 70-80k Ukrainians killed? Or is it including civilians? If so, then it's not directly comparable, as civilians are children and women for a big part. So it's hard to compare 80k dead russian men and 80k dead total Ukrainians.

I think this video overrestimates russias geographical issues. Even tough tens of thousands of russian soldiers has died in ukraine and houndreds of thousands fled the country, most of those as you mentioned were males. Reductions in the male populaton barely tends to affect birthrates (hence they count birthrates in child per female). It will ofcourse effect russias economy, but it should have been mentioned that a large portion of the educated males running away still works for russian companys remotly. Also even if you combine both those groups it dosnt even make 1% of russias total population of 143 millions. Some of them might also return eventually. The low birthrates definitely is an issue but low birthrates is an issue all over Europe. Yet we tend to make a much bigger deal out of it when it comes to russia. If you compare russias 1.5 children per female with germanys 1.53 it isnt that much of a difference.
